Zolkoff is the main antagonist of Total Drama Despair Island. He works under Jonathan Gavrilovic. He appears at the elimination ceremony murdering the contestants.

Zolkoff is a criminal from Serbia who works under Jonathan Gavrilovic. When Chris McLean pitched the idea of Total Drama to Jonathan, he accepted the idea of the show. After Chris had 22 teenagers abducted, Zolkoff joined the staff along with Chef Hatchet and other criminals to help run the show. Zolkoff appears during numerous elimination ceremonies to execute campers and he would sometimes participate in some of the challenges. He makes his first appearance where he kills Eva by smashing a barbell against the back of her head. He appears in Gwen's elimination ceremony where he slit her wrists causing her to bleed to death. He participates in Tyler's execution by batting a live grenade to Tyler and having him put the grenade in his mouth. Zolkoff also partakes in the executions of Sadie by sawing her in half, Cody by throwing him into an iron maiden for Chris to kill him, and Ezekiel by burning him to death while insulting him. He stops Katie from killing Chris by punching her and then sawing her in half in front of the other horrified contestants. He also tries to calm Chris down when he was angry and freaked out that Katie tried to kill him. Zolkoff led Sierra to her death by leading her to stand on a mark on the ground and having a giant rock crush her.
When Duncan's father tries to rescue the teenagers from the island, Zolkoff shoots the helicopter down killing most of the rescuers and attempts to burn the helicopter on the stage of the challenge. Chris tells him to not kill all of them since he needed to know who they were and what their intentions were for coming to the island. When Chris left the island to talk to Jonathan about a new season, Zolkoff reminds and warns Chef that he needed to murder a contestant during the elimination ceremony. Chef reluctantly agreed. Zolkoff later reappears during Courtney's execution where he tries to escort her onto the guillotine for her and Chris to tell him that he is not needed. During Beth's elimination, he murders her by slitting her throat while mocking her.
When Total Drama was over, the police intervened to save the remaining teenagers from Chris. Zolkoff and Chris are arrested. While in custody, Chris is furious to know that he was a lied to and used by Jonathan and he threatened to tell the police about Jonathan's role in the production of Total Drama. Zolkoff tells Chris that they were on a contract and that he could not rat out Jonathan. Chris was adamant about telling the police regardless. Zolkoff strangles Chris to death in their cell to prevent him from telling the police about Jonathan. After some time, Zolkoff was released from his imprisonment and did not face any punishment for his role in the show.
