Yakumo Oomori or also known as Jason was a ghoul of the Aogiri Tree member, and he is also a major antagonist in the series.
History[]
Biography[]
Not much is known about Yamori's past, other than he was born in Japan and he lost his mother at some point in his life. And he started his criminal life, and partnered with Sumiharu Katou and Uruka Minami. One night he and Minami ambushed Taishi Fura and Kishou Arima, when Yamori fights Fura he almost killed him. But he was arrested by Arima who impaled him and made Yamori flee but soon afterwards the CCG would capture him. After that, Yamori would be interrogated and tortured by Goumasa Tokage to reveal information about the 13th Ward, but he was also tortured for Tokage's sadistic pleasure. However, the role soon reversed, and Yakumo soon felt a pleasure he had never experienced before and began to torture his former torturer before leaving.
Meeting with Naki[]
He also before the events of the series, he met Naki and fought, and won. He then spared him, and Naki convinced him to let him into his faction. Afterwards he and Naki entered the Aogiri Tree, but during an operation, Naki was captured by the CCG.
First Season[]
Then one night, Jason noticed with Rize that he was devouring a pile of bodies. The two talked, and Rize provoked him which angered Yamori, and Jason attacked her but Rize escapes. After that one day, he meets Asaki Fuguechi in 20th Ward where he asked to make a new pair of pliers, but Jason gets mad at Asaki when he sees human triats in Hinami's father, and kills him by stabbing him. He also fought Kureo Mado and Koutarou Amon, but he runs away ignores them.
Then he together with Ayato Kirishima and Nico invade Anteiku and decided to take Kaneki. Jason then tortures Kaneki for days, and always cut his toenails and hands just to see him regenerate out of sheer sadism. However, Kaneki soon broke free and did with Jason the same thing he did with Goumasa and devoured him. With that, Kaneki took the same habit of Naki, Goumasa and Jason to install his fingers.
