Wood Man is of the eight Robot Masters that was created for the combat by Dr. Wily. He also uses natural cypresses of Megaman 2.
Wood Man has a strength and is resistant to physical blows. Wood Man's weakness is fire so the Heat Man's weapon is his weakness he also is weak by the Metal Man's weapon that is the Metal Blade. In the same way that the Wood Man can be kind, he can also be cruel to those who harm or fail to appreciate nature. Wood Man enjoys the natural beauty of the world, and does many hiking and mountaineering.
History[]
Megaman 2[]
Wood Man is one of the eight bosses created by Dr. Wily to destroy the Megaman. As he passes through his forest, Megaman soon fight him and defeats him. In his battle, he will activate his Leaf Shield and will throw four leaves on the ceiling and then throw a shield that stand straight and goes in a zigzag, making it so difficult to deviate from the shield he made. Leaf Shield will deflect all that Megaman shoots at him. So the best way to avoid it is by jumping on it and moving to a position that has no falling leaves and throw the Megaman. Where Wood Man is totally vulnerable to Megaman attacks. His weakness is the Metal Blade, Atomic Fire, Air Shooter and Crash Bomber.
Megaman 3[]
Wood Man appeared as data for the first Doc Robot in the Shadow Man phase. He will fight very similar to the original Wood Man that appeared in Megaman 2, except that his attacks cause more damage on the player. His weakness is the Needle Cannon and the Search Snake.
Megaman II[]
Do not confuse with the Megaman of NES. In this game, Wood Man will fight in the same way as Megaman 2, and just as in his debut game his weakness is the Metal Blade.
Megaman 8[]
Wood Man appears in this game as a mini boss, and he goes against the Megaman, his way of battle are the same. After defeating him, Megaman will win the Bolt which makes him jump higher. He is weak against Astro Crush and Flame Sword.
Megaman: The Power Battle[]
Wood Man is one of six heads of the Mega Man 1 ~ 2 course. And like Megaman 2, he uses Leaf Shield and jumps, but he can also attack using the shape of a trunk and roll and his weak point is Super Arm.
Super Adventure[]
In Super Adventure Rockman, Wood Man appears as the first boss of episode 2. It was later revealed that after Megaman defeated Shadow Man, Wood Man tried to repair it but it didn't work, because Shadow Man can't be repaired, and then Wood Man is shown getting angry and promises revenge against Megaman for killing Shadow Man who was his friend. After that other robots from Wood Man and Dr. Wily are revived with exception of Shadow Man who was defeated by Megaman. But then everyone is betrayed by Ra Moon and incapacitated. And if Megaman is defeated by the New Yellow Devil, he calls for energy from the robots, which while Hard Man and Wood Man protect Megaman while they all expend their energy, and after being shut down, Wood Man along with other thefts are destroyed alongside Ra Moon and his temple.
Megaman 10[]
Wood Man appeared as one of Weapons Archieve's special dice that Megaman must defeat and his weak point is Triple Blade.
