The Wish Pickle is a main antagonist in the 2018 Sesame Street special, When You Wish Upon a Pickle.
Biography[]
The caped pickle is delivered to Hooper's Store in his large box by an unknown sender. The pickle is activated by the push of its green button, whereupon he grants any wish with the chant of his magic words - "Cucumber dill, cucumber dill, cucumber dill...gherkin!" However, he only grants one wish per customer, leaving many of the residents of Sesame Street in sticky situations after making their wishes. At the special's end, Oscar the Grouch uses a wish to return everyone to normal and the pickle reveals he had himself sent to the street to fulfill the dreams everyone had previously sang about.
