William Taylor was a serial killer and the main antagonist of the episode ''Awake'' in the tenth season of Criminal Minds.

Biography[]
Taylor was born in 1972, and had a rescue yard and was a single father to a girl named Tatiana. In the year of August 17th, he was Tatiana home from a school dance recital, when he fell asleep at the wheel and was at night, when he was aproached by a man with a skull tatoo on his hands who claimed that the taillight it was off. William then tanked the man and fell asleep, when he woke up Tatiana was gone. With that a massive search for the girl was made and they only found Tatiana dead, and feeling guilty for sleeping at the wheel he soon pointed to the Skull Tatoo Man as a suspect, although perhaps it is thought that he imagined him in the micro-sleep. With the loss of her daughter and Post-Traumatic-Strass they caused a psychotic break. And with that he soon started to believe that Tatiana was alive, and with that he left to rescue her.

Afterwards, Taylor soon started kidnapping men he thought were the Skull Tatoo Man, he then kidnaps Steven Jackson and tortures him for hours to find out about his daughter. However, Jackson dies for not being the Skull Tatoo Man, then William steals his weapon and then kidnaps another man named Lance Coleman and tortures and kills him. BAU starts investigating him, and soon goes after David Whitfield, he tortures him for hours. But this time, David eventually runs away and Taylor corneres him, and shortly afterwards JJ and Lewis arrive and try to convince him by saying that his daughter is not but alive. However, William refuses to believe that his daughter is dead and tries to run over the two, which JJ and Lewis shoot at Taylor, and he dies.
