The Whale is the minor antagonist of Jonah: A VeggieTales Movie and VeggieTales episode Pistachio: The Little Boy That Woodn't.

Biography

Jonah: A VeggieTales Movie

Jonah wakes up from his dream to see that a huge storm has hit the pirate ship. Captain Pa Grape deduces that God is enraged with someone on board which why is the storm sent. The pirates, Jonah and Khalil plays Go Fish to determine who is responsible for this. For the moment when Jonah loses the game, he told the gang a truth that he disobey God to go to Nineveh and then has to walk the plank. Jonah gets eaten by a whale before the pirates tries to bring him back in. Using a bowling ball as ammunition, the pirates use a cannon to assault the whale. After ingesting the bowling ball and removing Jonah's lifebelt, the whale swims off.

When Khalil sees Jonah in the whale's stomach, he knows that he disobey God by attempting to run away from him and decided to confident that his time to die is running out. A host of God's messengers visits the two and inform them that God will give Jonah a second chance so the whale can take them to Nineveh. After three days and nights in the belly of a whale, the whale spits Jonah and Khalil out onto the coast, where they can ride Jonah's camel, Reginald, to travel to Nineveh.

Pistachio: The Little Boy That Woodn't

The whale appears to eat Pistachio and Cricket (played by Junior and Khalil) where Gelato (played by Larry) and the three brothers in the whale's stomach already. Pistachio reunites Gelato and apologizes by telling him a truth about what happened earlier, which Gelato forgives him. The gang decides to dump the barrels of castor oil in order to make the whale spits them out of his stomach. After the gang spills the oil out everywhere, the whale finally spits them out and Gelato cheers for Pistachio for listening to him.
