Ulysses Norville Trustable, known as Mayor Trustable, is a supporting antagonist in Season 15: Crystalized of LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu. He is the current mayor of Ninjago City, elected after Kalmaar's assault on the surface world. He dislikes the Ninja for having failed to stop numerous villains from attacking the city and prefers to them the New Ninja team, sanctioned by himself.
He is voiced by Charles Demers.
Biography[]
The Ninja came to Trustable, asking for Aspheera to be released from Kryptarium Prison so that she could depower Nya and restore her to her original form. The mayor denied them permission, remembering that Aspheera attacked the city in the past, despite the ninja arguing how much Nya's life meant to them and the people she sacrificed herself for. Later, when he learned that the ninja broke Aspheera out and stole her staff, he declared them public enemies one through five, with the New Ninja arresting them.
After the Ninja escaped prison, he tasked marshal Hounddog McBrag with chasing them down.
When the Crystal King and his army attacked Ninjago City, Trustable urged the citizens to stay calm, promising that law and order would be restored. As soon as the New Ninja fell victim to the villains, however, he told everyone to run for their lives and fled. It's unknown what happened to him, as he isn't seen either in the ranks of the Resistance or among the crystal zombies, nor during the restoration of the Ninja's monastery, but if he survived the Crystal King's assault, he likely continued to be the mayor.
Personality[]
At first, Ulysses Trustable appears to be a dedicated leader who places his people's safety above all, as seen when he refuses to release any dangerous villain even if the ninja promise to keep their eyes on them. Despite this, he is prone to losing his temper whenever he's interrupted.
However, he is also rather neglectful, playing golf in his own office and forgetting the laws he himself created, such as restricitng the Police Commisioner's jurisdiction to Ninjago City's borders. He ultimately proved to be a coward who thinks of himself first, as he was seen preparing to escape Ninjago City even before the New Ninja were defeated, and showed no concern in abandoning the citizens in their darkest hour.
The only creature Ulysses was shown to truly care about is his pet cat Mr. Fussly Fussly, whom he talked to affectionately and never abused.

- While he is the first Ninjago City mayor to make a physical appearance, he is not the first one to be mentioned, as a different, female mayor was mentioned in Season 2 and presumably kept her post until Ulysses was elected.
- The initials for his first and middle names are "U." and "N." respectively. If written this way, his name ("U. N. Trustable") spells "untrustable", perfectly describing his attitude toward the original ninja team.
