Twilight (Go! Princess PreCure)

Twilight, also known as Towa Akagi, is the daughter of Dyspear (though really she wasn’t), the princess of Dys Dark, and a major antagonist in Go! Princess Pretty Cure. She uses her own black Dress Up Key, which she inserts into one of the Three Musketeers' locks to increase the power of the Zetsuborgs they summon.

She was voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro.

Biography

When Towa was a young princess in the Hope Kingdom, she dreamed of becoming a Grand Princess, but unfortunately her big brother, Prince Kanata, said that only princesses of Princess Precure can become Grand Princesses, that did not stop her from trying. One day Dyspear lured her into a forest of despair, and she offered her the opportunity to become a Grand Princess, and when she accepted Dyspear’s offer, Dyspear began to brainwash her into evil, and then she became Twilight, the princess of Dys Dark, with whom Dyspear also took over her home. And when she became Twilight, she began to lock dreams away, and with her disappearance, Dyspear wanted to see her brother suffer. Then, when she arrived at Dyspear’s Castle, she began to carry out the locking of dreams with Shut and Lock by giving power to their locks, making Zetsuborg powerful. As she was about to unlock the dream with Shut, she gave his lock of power, after which Shut took Mr. Nishikido’s dream, locked it out, and summoned Zetsuborg. When Princess Precure fought fortified Zetsuborg, they managed to destroy it and save Mr. Nishikido’s dream, after which she and Shut had to leave. However, she has always given Shut and Lock locks power whenever she has been with them and when one of them was locking someone’s dream out. She once fought even Princess Precure herself, and she lost the battle when Haruka, known as Princess Precure as Cure Flora, found the third Dress Up Key in her favorite book and used it to defeat her. She then found the fourth Perfume, and she planned to use it to defeat Princess Precure. When she met Princess Precure and her brother, she began to fight them after becoming a Black Princess. During the battle, Princess Precure and Kanata managed to defeat her and free her from Dyspear’s control, and then Princess Precure took her to safety. Soon after, she became Cure Scarlet, the Princess of Flames, and now she began to defend the dreams of others, rather than lock them out.
