Tezcatlipoca is the main antagonist of the upcoming Mexican animated film and third full-length feature film by Fotosíntesis Media Mi Amigo el Sol (trans. My Friend the Sun).
He is voiced by the Mexican voice actor Humberto Solórzano.

- This deity has previously had other antagonistic roles in animated shows such as Crunchyroll's Onyx Equinox and Cartoon Network's Victor and Valentino.
- In this last mentioned, he camouflaged himself as a human with the name of Tez.
- He has also made appearances in DC Comics and the video game Broken Sword.
- At least as far as a Mexican animated film goes, this would be the first time a deity has been used as the main antagonist.
- Excluding of course Quetzalcóatl (Legend Quest), Coyolxauhqui (Legend Quest) and Mictlan (Maya and the Three) as they belong to TV shows themselves.
