Metal Beak/Surtr, better known as Metal Beak, is the leader of the Pure Ones and the main antagonist in Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole.

Biography

History

Surtr, during the Battle of the Ice Claws, lead thousands of Pure Ones into battle with the Guardians. The Pure Ones were easily winning the battle, but Ezylryb, aka Lize of Kiel, attacked Surtr and thrashed his beak off, and leaving scars on his face. The Pure Ones, afraid to see that Surtr was damaged, fled off into the wilderness. Surtr also escaped, but wounded. Eventually, he became Nyra's love interest, and Surtr forged himself a metal mask. Eventually, he became known as Metal Beak.
