Splatter and Dodge are a duo of BR Class 08 diesel engines that formerly worked for Diesel 10 in the 2000 live action Thomas the Tank Engine film, Thomas and the Magic Railroad.
Splatter was voiced by Neil Crone (also voiced Diesel 10 in the same film) while Dodge was voiced by Kevin Frank.
Personalities[]
They are both simple-minded, awkward, cowardly engines and they both like bantering, but Splatter is more talkative while Dodge is more intelligent out of the duo. Despite the fact that Splatter and Dodge were initially Diesel 10's sidekicks and that Percy seems to be scared of the two diesels, they, unlike their former boss, seemed reluctant to destroy any engine (even a steam engine) and they are even less villainous and intelligent than their boss. They also take pleasure in watching Diesel 10's evil plans backfire and even abandon and betray their former boss later on.

Trivia[]
- Splatter and Dodge were originally going to be voiced by Patrick Breen and the late Thomas and Friends narrator Michael Angelis before it was later decided that they would be voiced by Neil Crone and Kevin Frank respectively instead.
- Intially Splatter and Dodge never turned on Diesel 10. Instead, George, who was to be one of Diesel 10's henchmen, turned on them by telling them to destroy the magic buffers themselves when they ordered him to do so. This caused them to rush at him, only to smash into each other and derail. In another version of the script, they were trapped in a siding when Junior, helped by George, pushed a large boulder down into their path.
- Splatter and Dodge are two of the last characters that Britt Allcroft created before she left the Thomas and Friends production team.
- Splatter and Dodge's models were the same models used for Arry and Bert.
- Diesel 10 was originally to going to call Splatter and Dodge "Spladge" instead of "Splodge".
- Diesel 10 calls Splatter and Dodge "Splodge" because he claims that he doesn't have time to say both of their names.
- Splatter and Dodge were going to appear in Day of the Diesels (prior to the idea being scrapped and the duo being replaced with Paxton and Sidney). They were also going to appear in The Great Race, but that idea was also scrapped. This means that Splatter and Dodge were originally meant to appear in the CGI Thomas and Friends series, but since they ended up not appearing outside of Thomas and the Magic Railroad, they remain as one-time characters.
