Biography[]
Snerdly is known to work with Gertrude Vandergelt as her butler with his pet dog, Ratsputin at her mansion. While in the streets, Gertrude was saved by Benny as he, along with Top Cat and his gangs are posing as Boy Scouts to do some good deeds in hopes that they would get rewards. While Gertrude plans to leave her fortune to her missing teenager niece named Amy Vandergelt.
A few days laters, Benny receives a call from Gertrude's lawyer named Sid Buckman about her death and plans to put his name on her will, making Top Cat and his gang accompany him and going to her mansion. Once Top Cat and his gangs arrive to Vandergelt's Mansion, Snerdly and Ratsputin secretly plot to steal her fortune and even hide Amy away by forcing her work at the Car Wash in Beverly Hills. When Buckman then reads Gertrude's will that she's giving her inherits to Benny since seeing her true heiress niece is nowhere to be found (unaware that she's working at the car wash), he provides that nothing happens to Benny within the next two days. This upsets Snerdley as he had hoped to obtain the fortune for himself. Snerdly and Ratsputin have plot to exterminate Benny when Top Cat and his gang moves into Vandergelt mansion.
When he learns Gertrude is still alive and aware he has been stealing from her, he escapes in a dog costume, until the dogcatcher nets him along with Ratsputin to the pound.
