Each of us almost beat him, all alone! Working together, how can we fail?
~ Kraven the Hunter

The Sinister Six are a major faction in Marvel Comics, primarily for the Spider-Man series. They are a group consisting of Spider-Man's enemies, and seek to defeated him once and for all. Usually having six members, they have occasionally changed, examples being the Sinister Seven and the Sinister Twelve.

History[]

Original Six[]

After being defeated by Spider-Man three times, Doctor Octopus realized that he could not defeat Spider-Man alone, and sent an invite to every enemy Spider-Man had faced to join him. Out of those, only five responded, Electro, Kraven the Hunter, Sandman, Vulture and Mysterio. With Doctor Octopus as their leader, they formed the Sinister Six. When Octopus saw that the egos of the villains would not let the alliance last for long, he agreed to lure Spider-Man to six separate locations so the arrogance of each member would be fulfilled as they had their own chance to take him down. They kidnap Betty Brant, one of J. Jonah Jameson's news reporters, and Spider-Man's friend. When they see Spider-Man's aunt Aunt May has saw them, they kidnap her as well. Vulture informs Jameson, who in turn informs Spider-Man, who has lost his powers. Despite with no powers, Spider-Man heads to an electrical plant and faces Electro. During the fight, Spider-Man turned off the power and regained his powers, while Electro lost his powers, defeating him. Spider-Man then travelled to Central Park where he confronted Kraven and his three tigers. Spider-Man holds himself off and defeats the attackers, next heading to face Mysterio and his X-Men robot duplicates. He defeats Mysterio and battles Sandman to an airtight metal box. Sandman is defeated, unable to breathe as well as Spider-Man can, and then Spider-Man goes to Vulture. Vulture initially overpowers Spider-Man, forcing him to remove his web slingers and then attempted to push him off a building after covering the ground with oil and using the wind from his wings, but Spider-Man escapes and ties him up with a lasso. Finally, he defeated Doctor Octopus and saved Betty Brant and Aunt May, while the Sinister Six were imprisoned.

Return of the Sinister Six[]

Many years later, Doctor Octopus decides to make a new Sinister Six. Firstly, he saves Electro, Mysterio and Vulture from the police, then blackmailed the reformed Sandman into joining him and finally recruited Hobgoblin (to replace the dead Kraven). Planning to take the world hostage by planting poison into Cordco Inc.'s satellite which would be powerful enough to wipe out all of life and then force the world's leaders into fulfilling his demands, Doctor Octopus sends Mysterio and Hobgoblin to steal burundite from Empire State University to protect them from the poison. The villains begin causing chaos all over New York, and Doctor Octopus begins making the serum to protect the villains using the supplies given to him. However, unknown to the rest of the Sinister Six, Doctor Octopus is planning to betray them once they have outlived their usefulness. The Sinister Six proceed to attack the Cordco facility and battle Spider-Man. He defeats Electro, Vulture and Hobgoblin and tries to stop Doctor Octopus from loading the poison into the satellite, only for Mysterio to dissolve his webbing. Spider-Man falls into Sandman, and Doctor Octopus prepares to kill Spider-Man, but Sandman refuses to allow him to do so, so Octopus uses his special gun to trap Sandman in glass. While finishing the satellite, the sinister doctor sends the rest of the Sinister Six to destroy Spider-Man and Sandman. Hobgoblin sprays Spider-Man with a vial of the poison, but it is revealed that it isn't actually poison. Doctor Octopus reveals he never intended to take the world hostage, and that the chemical he tricked them into believing is "poison" is actually a chemical that will cause drug dealers to get convulsed while doing their business, and they will pay enough fortune for more that Octopus will be able to take over the world. Electro, Mysterio, Vulture and Hobgoblin turn on Doctor Octopus and attack him but they are defeated by him, Spider-Man and Sandman. As the police arrive, they all escape, and Spider-Man remains behind to cure Sandman and release the cure to the atmosphere.

Revenge of the Sinister Six[]

To get revenge on Doctor Octopus for betraying them, Mysterio, Electro, Hobgoblin and Vulture ally themselves. To trick the trapped in glass Sandman into joining them, they bomb his foster family, and when he thinks it is Doctor Octopus who bombed him for turning against him, he joins them. They are also joined by Gog(although the latter always operated behind the scenes) and they formed the Sinister Six to get revenge on Doctor Octopus. They also allow Sandman to become their leader to make him assume they are on his side. However, Sandman is revealed to not be tricked by the rest of the Sinister Six, and contacts Spider-Man as insurance ready for when they betray him. They fight Doctor Octopus, who defeats them with ease using his new adamantium tentacles. Realising then cannot defeat him, Mysterio, Electro, Hobgoblin, Vulture and Gog (still behind the scenes) join Doctor Octopus as their leader and Sandman leaving the group. They fled and proceeded to steal technology and weapons all over the world, and the five out of the six defeated Spider-Man, Sandman, Professor Hulk, Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, The Thing, Human Torch, Deathlok, Nova, Solo, Cyborg X, Sleepwalker and Ghost Rider in separate confrontations. They then attacked a HYDRA base, which they massacred, and then began robbing it. However, Spider-Man, alongside the armada of heroes they defeated, attacks them. During the fight, they are defeated when Sandman, still in his glass form, nearly shreds Doctor Octopus to death, and Mr. Fantastic shrinks Gog and banishes back to the dimension back to where he came from. Doctor Octopus, Mysterio and Electro are arrested but Hobgoblin and Vulture escape.

Sinister Seven[]

After the Spider-Man clone Kaine killed Doctor Octopus and Grim Hunter, Hobgoblin formed not a Sinister Six, but a Sinister Seven, forming of himself as the leader, Beetle, Electro, Mysterio, Scorpion, Shocker and Vulture to take Kaine down. They battle with Kaine, overpowering him, but Spider-Man comes to his rescue and together the spider duo defeat them.

Sandman's Sinister Six[]

Sandman freed himself from his glass and seeked revenge on Doctor Octopus, who had actually survived his encounter with Kaine, and became the new leader of the Sinister Six, formed of Electro, Kraven II, Mysterio II(after Mysterio died), Venom and Vulture. Sandman, having turned into a hero, only seeked revenge in a villainous manner due to being brainwashed by his former master Wizard. Spider-Man and Doctor Octopus team up and defeat them, and Venom accidentally goes on a rampage that almost kills Sandman, Kraven II and Electro.

Sinister Twelve[]

When Norman Osborn is revealed to be Green Goblin, he is imprisoned. He sent a message from prison to Chameleon, Scorpion (now possessing the Venom symbiote), Boomerang, Electro, Hammerhead, Hydro-Man, w:c:villains:Lizard_(Marvel) Lizard, Sandman, Shocker, Tombstone and Vulture. With Goblin the leader from behind bars, Venom was the second-in-command outside, and the eleven kidnapped Aunt May and threaten to kill her unless Spider-Man breaks Goblin out of jail. With help from his ally Black Cat, Spider-Man broke Goblin out of jail, but as soon as he was broken out the two heroes where confronted by Goblin and his fully formed Sinister Twelve. Spider-Man and Black Cat are rescued by Captain America, the Fantastic Four, Iron-Man, Daredevil and Yellowjacket, so the angered Goblin kidnaps Mary Jane Watson and flies away in his rocket, pursued by Spider-Man. They end up fighting on a bridge, and as he is overpowered by Spider-Man, he reveals Aunt May's location before tumbling into the river below. The rest of the villains are arrested.

Civil War Sinister Six[]

During the Civil War, Doctor Octopus forms a new Sinister Six: Grim Reaper, Lizard, Shocker, Trapster and Vulture. However, Captain America and the Secret Avengers: Hercules, Falcon, Daredevil II, Luke Cage, Iron Lad, Hulkling, Patriot, Wiccan, Kate Bishop, Jonas Vision, Speed, Kid Loki, Miss America, Marvel Boy and Prodigy defeat and bound them. As S.H.I.E.L.D arrives, they are all imprisoned apart from Doctor Octopus, who escapes once more.

Big Time Sinister Six[]

Doctor Octopus assembles Chameleon, Electro, Mysterio(the original one, as he is actually alive), the Rhino and Sandman to get Harry Osborn's baby(who he presumes has some of Green Goblin's DNA that will stop him from dying). They discover he does not inherit his DNA. They then sent Micro-Octobots to destroy an Air Force base, but this is prevented by Spider-Man, Captain America, Daredevil, Storm, Quake, Captain Britain, Agent Venom, Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, The Thing and Human Torch. The Sinister Six then travel to a Caribbean island and enlist a zombie pirate crew. Spider-Man, Invisible Woman, Ms. Thing and the rest of the Future Foundation arrive and battle them, but realise that the only people there are Mysterio and Chameleon while Doctor Octopus, Electro, the Rhino and Sandman are robots in disguise. Meanwhile, the real Doctor Octopus steals technology from Baxter Building. The Sinister Six break into a French laboratory, but they are confronted by Tigra and the Avengers Academy. They defeat the heroes and successfully steal a containing self-sustaining device. After facing and defeating an organization called Intelligencia, they rob them of their Zero Cannon. Doctor Octopus eventually builds a robot suit that will allow him to stay alive. Coordinated by Doctor Octopus and Mysterio, Octobots infiltrate and take over the Apogee 1 Space Station. Spider-Man and the Human Torch arrive, but Doctor Octopus sets the space station's course directly to Earth. The heroes manage to evacuate the crew in time as the ship is destroyed. It is revealed all of these random acts committed by the Sinister Six are all part of Doctor Octopus' ultimate plan to take over the world. He activates a giant antenna that activates all of Earth's satellites, which start heating up the Earth. Octopus broadcasts a message all over the world, revealing his plan and says he will save the Earth, but only for a price. The world's leader and greatest minds attend an assembly to discuss the Sinister Six's plot, unaware Chameleon is there, disguised as the Vice President. Spider-Man and the Avengers attack, and Spider-Man secretly plants a tracker on Chameleon as he escapes. They then follow Chameleon to the Mediterranean Coast where they confront him and the Sinister Six. The Avengers are taken down, and Spider-Man is as well after failing to damage Octopus' tentacles. The Sinister Six leaves and Octopus reveals the offer he will save the Earth for, 200 missiles and 12 billion dollars. Doctor Octopus sends Sandman to guard on of the missile bases in the Sahara Desert, but Spider-Man, Silver Sable and Black Widow arrive, defeat him and enter the base. As a result, Doctor Octopus adds another one of his demands to the list to the world's leaders: kill Spider-Man. The Rhino arrives at the base, and while Spider-Man and his allies defeat him, he escapes in the confusion when S.H.I.E.L.D. arrives, having been sent by the world's leaders to capture them. They are forced to escape and joined by Hawkeye, but Chameleon and Mysterio create an illusion where Spider-Man sees Octopus destroying the world with missiles. After the illusions are cleared, the Avengers, having been brainwashed by Octopus, fight them. Iron-Man knocks Widow and Hawkeye unconscious, but Spider-Man defeats Spider-Woman and Silver Sable defeats Captain America, who was holding back subconsciously. Thor, Iron-Man and Red Hulk break control and go to stop Octopus' missiles while Spider-Man and Spider-Woman face Rhino. He tries to drown himself alongside Spider-Woman and brutally beats Spider-Man down, but Spider-Man manages to save Spider-Woman while Rhino drowns. Spider-Man then defeats Doctor Octopus and he is sent to hospital to be cured of his illness, defeating the Sinister Six.

Boomerang's Sinister Six[]

Boomerang formed the short-lived Sinister Six consisting of Beetle II, Living Brain, Overdrive, Shocker and Speed Demon. However, the Superior Spider-Man(Doctor Octopus having possessed Spider-Man's body) faces them at Horizon Labs and uses a power-dampening device on their equipment, defeating them. He almost kills Boomerang but Spider-Man briefly resurfaces and spares him. They are then arrested.

Superior Sinister Six[]

Superior Spider-Man then takes the Raft as their base, re-naming it as Spider-Island II. Firstly, he kidnaps Sandman, then helps Thor defeat Electro and then captures him as well. After capturing Chameleon after taking him from custody, he then captures Mysterio and lastly Vulture. He brainwashes them into joining him as the Superior Sinister Six, and they fight the Wrecking Crew. When Sun Girl's attacks frees the villains from their mind control, they attack Superior Spider-Man, who teams up with Sun Girl and defeats them.

Sinister Sixteen[]

Boomerang, Beetle II, Overdrive, Shocker and Speed Demon fight Owl, before allying with him. Enlisting Armadillo, Bi-Beast, Clown, Cyclone, Human Fly, Kangaroo, Man Mountain Marko, Mirage, Scorcher, Shriek, Spot and Squid, they form the Sinister Sixteen. They committed various crimes, but disbanded when they felt mistreated by Boomerang.

Sinister Twenty-Seven[]

Mojo and the Chameleon kidnap Spider-Man and his X-Men students and forces them to star in a show where they face the Sinister Twenty-Seven: Beetle, Carnage, Demogoblin, Doctor Octopus, Electro, Gibbon, Green Goblin, Grizzly, Hammerhead, Hobgoblin, Jackal, Jack O'Lantern, Kingpin, Kraven the Hunter(having been resurrected), Lizard, Mobius the Living Vampire, Mysterio, Puma, Rhino(having actually survived his suicide attempt), Sandman, Scorpion, Shocker, Tombstone, Venom, Vermin and Vulture, but they are defeated.

Swarm's Sinister Six[]

Swarm makes a Sinister Six consisting of 8-Ball, Delilah, Killer Shrike, Meter and Squid and fight Spider-Man and his X-Men. After Hellion defeats Swarm, the rest of the team surrender and they are arrested.

Iron-Spider's Sinister Six[]

Iron Spider makes a Sinister Six of his own: Bombshell, a different Electro, Hobgoblin, Sandman and Spot and try to steal a S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier, but fail, defeating the final iteration of the Sinister Six.

Spider-Man: The Animated Series

In the show, Kingpin faces numerous defeats at Spider-Man's hands, so he breaks out Chameleon, and eventually Scorpion, Mysterio, Shocker, Rhino and Doctor Octopus from prison. Bringing them to him, he convinces them to form as the Insidious Six and take down Spider-Man. They commit various crimes to lure him out, and confront him at a robbery. He is captured and hung in the air by Doctor Octopus, but they begin arguing amongst themselves who should kill him, and a blast from Shocker causes Octopus to drop Spider-Man. Scorpion then chases Spider-Man into the subway but he escapes. Learning of their failure, Kingpin orders them to find him, so they split up and search for him. Learning that journalist Peter Parker often follows Spider-Man and takes his photos for the Daily Bugle(unaware Peter is actually Spider-Man himself), Doctor Octopus and Scorpion arrived at Peter's house. Octopus then visited Aunt May and told her that Peter had an accident and he is at the hospital. May went with him to the hospital, unaware she was being kidnapped. Octopus also left a note saying that May had been kidnapped for Peter to read when he came back home. Spider-Man went to the hospital and saw Aunt May, but it was revealed to be Chameleon. The rest of the Insidious Six arrived and tied Spider-Man up, as the latter lost his powers. They then unmasked him and saw that it was Peter, but they instead assumed he had pretended to be Spider-Man and came to save his aunt which would explain why he did not have his powers (however, this was obviously not the case). When Kingpin's enemies Silvermane and Hammerheard launched an attack on Crime Central, Kingpin called them back to kidnap Silvermane. As they attacked the facility, Chameleon disguised himself as Hammerhead and took Silvermane to an elevator before revealing himself. Chameleon then gave Silvermane to Kingpin. Spider-Man arrived and tricked Shocker, causing him to fall of the building. Kingpin pushed Silvermane out of his helicopter but he was saved by Spider-Man. The Insidious Six confronted them but Spider-Man tricked them into arguing with each other long enough for him to escape with Silvermane. Feeling that Kingpin was not living up to his promises, the Insidious Six disbanded.

However, they eventually agreed to work for Kingpin once more. Since Mysterio had died, Kingpin hired Vulture to replace him, forming the new Insidious Six as Doctor Octopus, Shocker, Vulture, Rhino, Chameleon and Scorpion. Kingpin sends them to find a doomsday plant. In Moscow, Spider-Man saves his friend Robbie from an explosion, but Chameleon disguises himself as Officer Kragov and orders them to leave. Spider-Man follows him but he is discovered and knocked unconscious by the Insidious Six, who bring him to Kingpin. Kingpin attempts to use the Doomsday Device but he, the Insidious Six and Spider-Man are kidnapped by The Wildpack, who bring them to Ukraine at the hands of Red Skull. Spider-Man finds help from American soldiers: The Six Forgotten Warriors. Chameleon betrays them and sides with Red Skull, and the rest of the Insidious Six are defeated and imprisoned.

The Spectacular Spider-Man

Doctor Octopus orchestrated a breakout in which he, Sandman, Shocker, Vulture, Rhino, Electro, Ricochet and Ox were broken out. Hammerhead arrived and gave them all equipment before driving Ricochet and Ox arrive, while the other villains drove away on a boat. With Doctor Octopus as their leader, they form the Sinister Six and attack Spider-Man (with the black suit symbiote) at Time Square. They overpower him, ending with him being tossed into a wall by Doctor Octopus, forcing him to evade their chase in a sewer and escape. The Six have dinner together but start bickering until Octopus convinces them to put their differences aside and focus on defeating Spider-Man. They take hostages at a bank, and he arrives, consumed and fully un self-conscious of himself. They quickly ground him, but Spider-Man breaks free and violently takes them down in a way that Peter Parker never would. He then faces Octopus, the last one standing and kicks him into a railing, defeating him. He tries to use Octopus' tentacles to finish him but Captain George Stacy and the police tell him that it is over, so he swings away and the Sinister Six are imprisoned.

Octopus pretended to leave his old, villainous tendencies in prison and took therapy, but from the outside he began gathering villains to form the Sinister Seven and also allies with the Tinkerer and Calypso. He orchestrates the breaking out of various villains and the Sinister Seven is formed: Electro, Vulture, Rhino, Sandman, Mysterio and Kraven the Hunter, with Octopus secretly as the mysterious Master Planner. As the Tinkerer gathered the rest of the Sinister Seven before the Master Planner in a blurred hologram, he feigns that he was "disappointed" Octopus didn't accept the invitation(as he does not want them to know his true identity) and reveals his plan for them to defeat Spider-Man. Vulture and Electro attack Spider-Man at the ice rink, but Spider-Man webs Vulture to the massive Christmas Tree, and when Electro electrifies it, it collapses. Electro chases Spider-Man to a tyre shop, and his electricity melts the tires into cement, which trap Electro. Rhino and Sandman then attack him, but Spider-Man freezes them in the snow. He is lured by holograms of Octopus and Shocker right to Kraven the Hunter, who begins fighting him. As they take the fight to a mall, Kraven is joined by Mysterio. Spider-Man manages to defeat Kraven and Mysterio, however. Mysterio escapes and leaves the Sinister Seven, turning them into the Sinister Six, and leaves a bot in his place to be arrested. The Tinkerer helps Kraven, Electro, Vulture, Sandman and Rhino escape back to the Master Planner, who reveals himself as Doctor Octopus to Vulture and Electro. The latter two kidnap Gwen and bring her to Octopus, who contacts George Stacy and blackmail him to giving him global access codes. Spider-Man arrives at Octopus' lair while Captain George starts delivering the global access codes, and Spider-Man comes into conflict with Electro. Electro is knocked unconscious after he hits so many places trying to capture Spider-Man it floods, and Octopus is forced to escape at the facility overflows, and Spider-Man barely manages to save Gwen and leave the facility. While most of the villains stayed loyal to Octopus, they were no longer the Sinister Six, ending the team.

Ultimate Spider-Man

Doctor Octopus hires Rhino, Kraven the Hunter, Electro and Beetle to join him, and then kidnaps Dr. Curt Connors and turns him back into the Lizard and placing a mind control device on him, forming the Sinister Six. When Spider-Man arrived at Octopus' lair, they attacked and attempted to unmask him, but he escaped into the sewers. Being pursued by them, Spider-Man briefly freed Lizard before Octopus turned him back. Leaving Octopus' lair, they fought Spider-Man above the surface. Electro ultimately defeated him, but the S.H.I.E.L.D. Trainees intervened and they fought. After defeating Lizard, Spider-Man briefly fought Octopus. Temporarily resisting Octopus' control, Lizard escaped into the sewers while Spider-Man defeated Octopus, and he was arrested alongside the rest of the Sinister Six.

Doctor Octopus captured Lizard once more, and stole tech from Oscorp, before arriving at Ryker's Island and freeing Electro, Rhino, Kraven the Hunter and Scorpion and supplying them with armour, as well as armour and another control device to Lizard, forming the Tech Sinister Six. The S.H.I.E.L.D. Trainees and Iron Patriot arrived and fought the criminals in the prison, while Spider-Man faced the new Tech Sinister Six. With the assistance of the other villains, Lizard fights Spider-Man until he is captured. Scorpion prepares to kill him but Iron Patriot and the S.H.I.E.L.D. Trainees arrive and battle them. Under Iron Patriot's leadership, however, the team start arguing. Spider-Man takes on Lizard while Doctor Octopus and Iron Patriot, sworn enemies, fight each other. Spider-Man turns Lizard back to Curt Connors, so Octopus uses the Goblin serum he originally intended to use on Spider-Man does it on Iron Patriot instead, turning him back into the Green Goblin. In his rampage, Goblin defeats the Sinister Six and steals more vials of the Goblin serum, kidnapping the S.H.I.E.L.D. Trainees. The Sinister Six are then arrested.

Doctor Octopus allies with Arnim Zola and HYDRA and creates an army of Goblin soldiers. With his force, he arrives and battles Spider-Man, Iron-Spider, Agent Venom, Nova and S.H.I.E.L.D. HYDRA capture the S.H.I.E.L.D. Trainees(save for Spider-Man himself) and the New Warriors before taking over the city. Octopus releases Kraven the Hunter, Boomerang and Batroc the Leaper and orders that he will reward whoever finds and captures Spider-Man. Octopus then catches Norman Osborn and attempts to inject him into the Green Goblin, but when he finds he injected himself with an anti-venom, he tries to inject Harry instead. Spider-Man and Scarlett Spider save the duo and send HYDRA Island, with Zola on it, into space. Doctor Octopus assembles Kraven the Hunter, Ultimate Green Goblin(from an alternate reality), Rhino, Hydro-Man and Electro, while inserting Scarlett Spider as a spy on the inside. Doctor Octopus reveals this to Spider-Man, and Scarlett Spider joins them, forming the Sinister Seven. They then unmask Spider-Man. Retrieving the Anti-HYDRA weapon from Scarlett Spider, after fighting Spider-Man Octopus turns their base into Octopus Island. However, seeing he is on the wrong side, Scarlett Spider leaves the team, making it the Sinister Six, and joins Spider-Man. Octopus Island begins falling into New York, but Scarlett Spider seemingly sacrifices himself by stopping it and flunging it into the sea. With their plan foiled, the Sinister Seven disbanded.

On Spider-Man's graduation day, Octopus forms the final Sinister Six to destroy him, Kraven and Scorpion, and unwillingly forcing Rhino and Vulture, as well as the Lizard injected Crossbones, making the Superior Sinister Six. Octopus has them spy on Aunt May, and threatens Spider-Man he will kill her. The Superior Sinister Six then face Spider-Man(who has not got his powers), the S.H.I.E.L.D. Trainees, the New Warriors, the Web Warriors, the Avengers, Doctor Strange, Nick Fury, the forces of S.H.I.E.LD., Patrioteer, Dr. Curt Connors and many others. Save for Spider-Man and Aunt May, he traps the rest of the heroes in an energy dome. They then trap Spider-Man and Aunt May, but he escapes the Triskelion after getting past Vulture. Doctor Octopus sees one of the only allies of Spider-Man not in the dome, Norman Osborn, and realises Spider-Man has met him at Oscorp. The Superior Sinister Six arrive at Oscorp where Norman is trying to help Spider-Man regain his powers, and destroy the building. However, Spider uses the serum to grant his powers back and heal Rhino, Vulture and Lizard. After defeating Kraven and Scorpion, Spider-Man witnesses Octopus use octopus DNA to turn himself into an octopus mutant. Slowly however, he realises that despite all the times Spider-Man fought him, the hero always considered him with honour and respect, and allows Spider-Man to heal him from his mutant form. He then releases the heroes from the dome and leaves with Iron-Man to start his redemption, redeeming him and ending the Sinister Six.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse[]

Although not given the name, Kingpin assembles a team of villains to assist him: a female Doctor Octopus, Prowler, Scorpion, Tombstone and Green Goblin.

Amazing Spider-Man franchise[]

At the end of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Gustav Fiers, also known as The Gentleman, visited Green Goblin in jail proposing the idea of forming a new villain crew. With Green Goblin as the first member, they then had the Rhino broken out to be the second member. Vulture's wings can also been seen at the facility, as well as Octopus' tentacles. A film called The Sinister Six was said to be released in 2016, but it ultimately cancelled when the franchise came to an end. In the prequel, The Amazing Spider-Man, The Gentleman was shown to try gather information from Lizard about Spider-Man, although he failed. Had the movie come out: the lineup was confirmed to be Green Goblin, Rhino, Doctor Octopus, Vulture, Kraven the Hunter and Mysterio.
