Shifune Tsuzuki is the main antagonist of the first season of the BanG Dream! anime series, as well as a supporting character in the anime's second and third seasons. She is the former owner of SPACE, a music live house, whose high standards of music, as well as her strict, no-nonsense personality often causes friction to other bands, particularly including Poppin' Party.
She is voiced by Mami Koyama in Japanese.
Appearance[]
Tsuzuki is an elderly woman, who is seen with a short grey hair with a single pink strand in its front. She often wears a casual outfit comprising of a salmon-coloured blouse on the outside, as well as a black tunic on the inside. She wears grey, knee-length pants and black sandals. She is often seen with a walking cane.
Personality[]
Blunt and no-nonsense, Tsuzuki is often known to be infamous in regards to her high standards of music, when she refused Poppin' Party to allow them to perform in SPACE, citing their lack of musical talent. Deep inside her cold erudition towards music, however, she is often known for her kind heart.
She is also brutally honest and direct, when she simply called out Kasumi as the "worst member" of PoPiPa, leading to her slump between Episodes 10 and 11.
Though being relentless sometimes, she cared her daughter, supporting her pursue her dreams in England and take good care of her granddaughter, Rana Kanane. She handed her fender, Miraculous Scarlet to Rana, also trained her into a top-notch guitarist like her.
