Shelley also known as the Turtle Monster is a major antagonist in the 2012 film Frankenweenie. She is Toshiaki's pet turtle who was revived and brought back as an undead kanji who reked havoc on New Holland.
Description[]
Shelley belonged to Toshiaki as a pet. When he brought her back to life, it unfortunately went wrong and Shelley became abnormally huge, destroying everything in her path.
History[]
She's unearthed one stormy night by her owner who wishes to revive her to win the science fair. Although after being struck by lightning, Toshiaki cannot find the turtle, Shelley surprises him by destroying his cabin in his garden. She roars and spots the Dutch city fair and heads there.
Panicked, Toshiaki asks Victor for help, already solicited by Bob because of his Sea Monkeys. The three follow the giant tortoise to stop the chaos. This last landmark Colossus, the hamster of Nassor and violently crushes it to death. Shelley continues the havoc and notices Toshiaki who films her on the Ferris Wheel. She then grabs him from the back and Toshiaki again begs Victor to help him. The boy then electrocutes her with water on the ground on which the turtle was. Shelley then releases Toshiaki and regains her normal form.
