Shao Kahn is the Titular Antagonist from Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Realm who makes His Debut in Episode 2. He also appears in Ongoing Episodes until only in Episode 13 where He is exposed to be the Taker down of King Jerrod.
He is a Rival of Kitana who dates Liu Kang after He is the responsible of making Her motivates Her own Vengeance from Her own Father's lifeless body so She can eliminates Him. Shao Kahn is also an All times Rival of Raiden.
He was voiced by John Vernon in Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Realm.

Most of Shao Kahn's backstory is unknown. All that is known is that at some point he became the Emperor of Outworld. At some other point he conquered and merged with Edenia and took the princess of the realm, as Kitana his daughter.
