Shadar is the overarching villain of the Legacy duology.

History[]

As Galahanzer, he tried to save his kingdom from a rampage, but failed. He later refused to join the sword possessing Kahn.

He later became powerful and made a deal with another sword, learning of the world's state and what he has to do.

Over time, he became Shadar, a man known to kill many people in the name of an unknown goal.

Present[]

He appears first in a deal with another man, wishing a book. When the book is lost, Shadar kills the man, not wanting that anyone else learns of this. He orders Slade (the hero of the Legacy duology, who's not the Teen Titans villain) to bring the pages. Later, he orders Sharn to kill Slade. When Sharn takes too long, Shadar attempts to kill him, but is interrupted by Deimos. He later appears in his castle, confronted by Slade, Sharn, Faust and Iris. At first, Faust talks to him with taking him down and that he'd return, but Shadar doesn't kill Faust, imprisoning him in a dimension, instead. He later fights the others, but only gets freed and escapes. He returns when Abel attempts to kill Slade inside his mind and manages to kill Abel. He later saves Rhea from being executed, wishing her to participate in taking down Deimos and the Demi-Gods. After they storm Apollo's base, Shadar helps Slade's group in finishing off Faust and Maribel who come to assist in Apollo's plans. He also kills one of Apollo's strongest guards. He later kills the revived Abel when Slade and his friends refuse. He later fights Slade's group, being their enemy once again, but is interrupted by Proteus. He later talks with Slade about his plans, before Slade and his friends decide to withdraw.

Years later, he's confronted by Slade again, who doesn't approve with Shadar's plans to kill most of humanity to reach balance and it ends with Shadar's defeat, but Shadar isn't done for good, yet.

Some time later, he finds place in the golem Nero. He talks with Nero and forces Gerent to withdraw. Later, when Gerent almost beats Nero's team, Shadar returns to kill Gerent, what he does. He later appears on the tower, fighting for the God title, the other group being Malakai and his followers. He also kills some of Nero's allies during that battle. After Nero's team takes down Malakai, Shadar becomes Nero's team's last antagonist. He later fights Iris and manages to kill her. He later fight Nero's team and then Nero himself, ending the battle with a draw. Shadar states that balance is achieved and later, both he and Nero have to watch over the world from threats. By the end, Shadar announces that should the world be imbalanced again, he'd strike again.
