Scorponok was the leader of the Decepticon Headmasters, and is an antagonist of Transformers Generation one cartoon and main antagonist of the Transformers The Headmasters, even ascending to leadership of the Decepticons.

Events from the UK comics are in italics. Scorponok was a Decepticon commander on Cybertron, and was a rival of Fortress Maximus. At some point, as seen in The Legacy of Unicron, Cyclonus and Scourge, having been thrown into the 20th century joined up with Scorponok.
