Alexander ''Sawney'' Bean is a character and a Scottish urban legend. He and his clan lived in an epidemic family in an area around Ayrshire usually in Galloway Hills, where he hunted his prey and killed it, but before that he and his clan devourer that flash of their victims. And Sayney's generally more dubious than historical.

Bean was born in East Lothian in Scotland in the year 1500, although Bean tried to take over the family business, but he soon realized that he had little taste for honest work. He left home with a cruel woman who shared his inclinations, the couple lived in a cave at Bennane Head, where they lived for around 25 years. And all of Bean's children were products of incest and without inclinations to work. The clan prospered and he his clan began to kill people and eat their meat, the Beans one day ambushed them a detective, who he was skilled in combat and stopped the clan, but they managed to escape.
After learning about the existence of the Beans, King James VI of Scotland soon concluded a human hunt behind the clan. When Bean and his clan were captured, they were executed without trial.
