~ Dr. Clef to SCP-531-D.
SCP-531-D, also known as Dreamer, is an antagonist in the SCP Foundation series. He is a reality bender who used his powers to rape numerous women and cause further damage to others around him. This eventually led to Dr. Clef decommissioning him in a elaborate plan in the tale "Termination_Order".
SCP-531-D was a reality bender who was very close to his mother while his father left them when he was ten. After his powers were discovered he was contained by the SCP Foundation and originally designated SCP-531.
However, the Foundation struggled with containing him as his powers were too strong, allowing him to manipulate the female personnel into having sex with him against their will. While in containment he sensed his mother dying which greatly upset him, causing him to release a field that killed everyone near him, resulting in 2000 deaths before he calmed down. When he watched one of his victims, Dr. Angela Flaherty kissing her husband Michael SCP-531 was enraged at this sight and decided to rapidly age Michael in 15 years.
Being fed up with the problems caused by him, the O5 Council decided to decommission SCP-531. Unfortunately this task proved to be difficult due to his powers foiling any attempt at killing him. Running out of options, the Council decided to have Dr. Alto Clef carry out the decommissioning, since he was an expert in killing reality-benders back when he was a member of the Global Occult Coalition. Following the Incident 239-B, Clef was left injuried and demoted, but as he was needed to decommission SCP-531 he was offered to be fully healed and returned to his post. He accepted the task and proposed Operation: Spoil the Rod which was approved by O5-7.
As SCP-531 was about to rape Dr. Rebecca Flanders in his containment chamber, Clef interrupted him by barging in. SCP-531 became furious at Clef's intrusion and began destroying his cell, but the doctor persisted, forcing Flanders out and introducing himself as the new head researcher assigned to him. As Clef sat in front of SCP-531 he began playing Elvis Presley's "You Ain't Nothin' But a Hound Dog", but unbeknownst to the latter the song was secretly altered with SCP-061, a music program that convinces the brain to stop all thought and allows the body to follow commands, that current command being to go to sleep. Both SCP-531 and Clef went to sleep, allowing Mobile Task Force Sigma-6, also known as "Puddlejumpers", to pass them through SCP-120 to Location 9 at Mare Imbrium on the Moon where SCP-531 was placed within a thin, airtight glass cell planted with explosives which was disguised as his cell by Dr. Kondraki's illusory butterflies designated SCP-408.
Waking back up with no memory of passing out, Clef talked about SCP-531's Xbox, subtly signaling for him to be replaced by an illusion of him created by SCP-408 and prepare in killing SCP-531 while he evacuated the kill zone. Clef's illusion provoked SCP-531 by accusing him of raping numerous innocent women and unnecessarily killing thousands of people simply because he couldn't deal with his mother's death. SCP-531 shouted back at him, but in that moment the butterflies revealed themselves and soon the explosives decompressed the chamber, exposing him to outer space and successfully killing him. With SCP-531 now decommissioned he was redesignated SCP-531-D.
Appearance[]
SCP-531-D appeared as a young man with an emo appearance.
Personality[]
SCP-531-D was an angsty emo teenager who loved his mother and deeply resented his father for leaving him. However, after discovering his reality-bending powers he quickly reached Phase 4 of the reality-benders' psychology as ascertained by the GOC. In this phase titled the Child-God SCP-531-D became obsessed with his powers and used them for his personal gain without taking in consideration the wellbeing of others. Like the majority of reality-benders SCP-531-D had little empathy, deluded himself that he wasn't at fault for his actions and became a megalomaniac. He used his powers to manipulate other humans for sexual purposes, not caring about the consequences of his actions, like the mental or physical damage he caused to them and remained adamant that it wasn't his fault as he claimed he wasn't in control and that the women actually loved him, despite the obvious truth. He was prone to anger which proved to be his undoing as Clef was able to take advantage of this to surprise and immediately kill him.
Powers and Abilities[]
SCP-531-D was a powerful reality bender who was capable of various feats. These included manipulating women into allowing him to rape them, killing countless people near him when enraged, aging a man by 15 years and causing damage to the surrounding environment. The Foundation was unable to properly kill him, but Clef being an expert in reality benders and one himself, managed to form an elaborate plan to assure his death. By following the GOC's common instructions in dealing with reality benders, Clef took advantage of SCP-531-D's unstable but predictable mental state and surprised him by secretly transporting him to the moon before immediately destroying his cell and exposing him to outer space, killing him instantly.
Trivia[]
SCP-531-D was originally an article written as SCP-531, but was removed from the mainlist and moved to the Decommissioned SCPs due to being a poorly written Mary Sue character. Eventually, out of respect for the original author, the article was deleted instead of being held as a shameful and outdated piece of writing, though the tale about the decommissioning still exists.
The tale "Termination_Order" served as a basis for SCP-4231.
