SCP-086-UA, also known as Too Many Questions, is an antagonist in the SCP Foundation series. It is a Euclid-class SCP in the Ukranian branch of the SCP Foundation.
The object was found on ██/██/19██, in the Kharkiv region, in the city of ██████, in an abandoned high school. People who lived near the school claimed that there were legends about a boy who confused people with his questions and then killed them. The information intrigued Foundation agents after an agent infiltrated into the ranks of the police received information about cases of disappearances or deaths under strange circumstances of █ individuals in the area where, according to legend, the "pochemuchnik" was located. On ██/██/19██, there was an incident identified as Inc086-A-UA in which a small group of schoolchildren was attacked by an unknown boy and asked them strange questions. The children were very frightened by the appearance of this boy, and tried to run away from him, but he began to catch up with them. This was noticed by several people who decided to help the children, leading to their impression and the deaths of ██ subjects. After this incident, the humanoid was captured by the MTF "Down with Miracles" squad, and all witnesses to the incident were administered amnestics. For more information, see the full incident report, available upon request to the facility curator.
Biography[]
SCP-086-UA is to be kept behind bars, in a special Euclid-class humanoid cell. A buffer zone with a radius of at least 120 metres should be installed around the chamber, divided by additional walls into layers 30 metres wide, and a corridor that is blocked every 30 metres by a metal remotely controlled door. The object must be under constant video surveillance. Every 72 hours, a D-Class personnel who meet the criteria are to be sent to SCP-086-UA.
The subject prefers a sedentary lifestyle, but at the same time he can walk, run and shows good physical characteristics. Medical examination showed that most of the subject's organs were badly damaged, and the lungs and vocal cords were completely absent. But for some anomalous reason, the object can talk and scream. In addition, although new injuries significantly reduce the subject's activity and put it into an apathetic state for a while, SCP-086-UA has demonstrated the ability to heal them within a maximum of 2 days.
If a person comes into the SCP's field of vision, the object will begin to approach the person, entering what is known as the "Question Stage". During this stage, the object walks towards the subject at high speed (up to 15 meters per second) and begins to ask questions. Often, questions asked by SCP-086-UA relate to the subject's behavior, appearance, location, various objects near the object, temperature, lighting, and other factors related to the object's location. After being asked a question by the object, the subject is unable to give it a false answer. If the subject says the correct answer to SCP-086-UA's question, the subject will continue to ask questions. After some time, which each time has a different duration, the subject begins to ask questions that relate to the subjects of the subject's previous answers. This stage will continue until the subject remains silent to SCP-086-UA's questions, or says a non-specific answer; The criteria for the "non-specificity" of the answer, which cause the transition to the end of this stage, are specified. After that, the object goes to the "Aggression Stage".
When SCP-086-UA enters the "Aggression Stage", it will begin to attack the subject by all available means until the subject dies from its injuries. Thus, if there is a firearm or bladed weapon in the immediate vicinity of SCP-086-UA, it will definitely use it to destroy the subject. However, the affected subject will be able to avoid death during this stage. To do this, move away from SCP-086-UA at a distance of 50-60 meters, after which it goes into a calm state.
If, within 72 hours, the subject is unable to "talk" to any subject, it will go in search of the subject. Such cases several times led to a violation of storage conditions and the death of several researchers. It has been noted that due to its anomalous properties, SCP-086-UA may notice another subject through a wall or other obstacle during the search, although under other conditions SCP-086-UA does not exhibit more keen senses than a normal human.
It was also noted that the subject reacts extremely aggressively to bullet wounds that do not cause significant damage, and in all reported cases, despite the distance (which was 1,100 meters during the incident Inc086-B3-UA dated ██/██/20██), spotted the subject who shot it and attempted to reach it and attack. Permission to conduct experiments to detect the object's reaction to shots from a greater distance is under consideration. Permission to conduct experiments to detect the object's reaction to bursting bullets was not obtained due to the risk of losing the object.
Appearance[]
SCP-086-UA is a Caucasian humanoid that is 1.3 m tall and weighs 28.2 kg. The object appears to resemble a child aged 6-8 years, and has a mummy-like appearance.
