Rodney Carlton Bitterman is the eight-year-old son of Carl and Melinda Bitterman, the twin brother of Megan and Shelby Bitterman, and the antagonist of Baby Blues. He is voiced by Kath Soucie. Rodney is very mischievous and is best known for causing a lot of trouble. However, he's the smartest of his twin siblings and is street wise.
Rodney repeatedly pesters his dad by asking stupid questions, shooting knock-knock jokes to avoid going to bed, and placing his finger an inch from his dad's tools immediately after being told not to touch them. Rodney's antics always makes his twin sister, Megan, laugh.
Besides being a menace, he can be very sympathetic, particularly to Darryl and Zoe. The sensitive side of Rodney has shown his somewhat neglected or misunderstood relationship with his dad. At one time, Rodney had tried one of Darryl's cheesy mushrooms and realized how much he cared about good food and wanted to cook. However, his father thought it was silly, so Rodney had relied on Darryl to help him. This preference to Darryl over his own dad led Darryl to pride, despite Rodney's annoying and teasing Darryl many times previously. Rodney's sensitive side also shows through his a caring and loving relationship with Zoe.

He and his family go out to camp. His twin sister chases him around. During the sleep, Megan thinks he is poking her but she said it wrong.
Bizzy Moves In[]
Wanda, going through a mid-life crisis, starts hanging out with Bizzy. Rodney tries the muffins baked out of the oven.
Rodney Has Two daddies[]
Rodney becomes interested in culinary arts, but he keeps his passion for cooking a secret from his family, due to fear of disappointing his father. Darryl secretly becomes Rodney's cooking teacher, and due to the secrets and late nights out, Wanda becomes convinced Darryl is cheating on her.
Hurtin' Inside[]
Wanda and Darryl, feeling concerned for Bizzy because of her physically abusive boyfriend, Rodney and Carl drink something.
The Bitterman Hillbillies[]
When the Bittermans become wealthy, Darryl becomes insanely jealous and feels his masculinity is threatened. Meanwhile, the Bittermans hire Bizzy to be a personal servant, leading to conflict between the MacPhersons and the Bittermans.
World's Greatest Dad[]
Darryl and Carl begin hanging out with their children at "Gumdrop Palace" (a "Chuck E. Cheese's-type ocation), where they enjoy watching the sexy, scantily-clad "Birthday Lady". Darryl feels guilty about this however, and begins showering Wanda with gifts and affection as a result.
Rodney Moves In[]
Rodney was suspended from school again. Carl told him that if he disobeyed him 1 more time then he will put his head in the slice and cut it before Wanda interrupted him. Zoe had Rodney sleep with her. They told him that Rodney had to go home.
Ugly Zoe[]
Wanda freaks out about Zoe's pinkeye, cradle cap and face scabs before an interview with a fancy, prestigious preschool. Meanwhile, Darryl pretends Bizzy is his wife to earn the attention and friendship of his boss. Rodney says nasty things.
Wanda Proof[]
After Wanda accidentally injures Zoe by dropping her off the diaper changing table, Darryl begins to "babyproof" the house. When Wanda accidentally jabs an anal thermometer in Zoe's rectum, she rushes Zoe to the hospital, and attempts to keep the visit a secret from Darryl. Rodney and his twins accidentally hit him with the swing.
The Bad Family[]
Rodney refuses to put his Easter pants. Carl chases Rodney up a tree with those pants. Rodney threw his pants over the fence. Rodney appears to be at church with the cantaloupe and says haunted things. Rodney and the other villains plus Megan sing something rhyming with Zoe after the doorbell ringing.
Teddy-Cam[]
Rodney bothers Carl with pestering. He is not shown while Darryl and Carl are in Carl's secret room of spy-cameras.
A Baby Blues Christmas Special[]
Darryl and Wanda decide to name the baby Zoe but Rodney thinks the name is stupid. Shelby and Megan came out of Melinda's stomach but Rodney came out of her butt. Rodney opens a window and shoots something at Zoe's crib.
Wanda Moves Up[]
Darryl comes to a lemonade stand.
