Reflekta is an akumatized villain in Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir and the akumatized form of Juleka Couffaine. After getting locked in the bathroom, she is akumatized by Hawk Moth. In "Reflekdoll", she gained a sentimonster that looked like her. In “Gulitrip”, she gained a new sentimonster named Gulitrip.

Appearance[]

Reflekta's face is white and she has hot pink circle markings around her eyes, along with purple lipstick. On the tips of her eyelashes, there are small light green spheres. Her hair is shiny and pink with light purple stripes, and two twisted ponytails stick upward on each side of her head. She has side bangs, and at the center of the front of her hair, there is a white upward almond-shaped eye with a light purple outline and a pink pupil. She wears a pink dress with a collared, light purple stripes around her waist, and eyes like the one on her hair around her puffed sleeves and skirt. The tips of the collaret and the skirt have the light pink edging, and her arms and legs have pink gloves and leggings. Her long green fingernails stick out of the end of her gloves, and on the back of her right hand, she has a pink eye design with a black outline, the center being a black jewel that opens up to reveal a small circular mirror. At the bottom of her feet, she has pink thick high heels and miniature eyes without pupils appear above the feet. Her eyes remain copper.

Personality[]

As Reflekta, she is proud and vengeful. Because no one ever paid attention to her, she wants everyone to look like her so that she will never be unnoticed again. In particular, she wanted to transform Chloé because she prevented her from being in the class photo in her first akumatization. She is quite vain, constantly telling everyone that they will look better once they look like her and reassures them that they look amazing once they are transformed. Due to this arrogance, she believes her victims like their new looks, when they clearly do not. Without a second thought, Reflekta is ruthless, even transforming people who are nice to her and notice her, including Rose. In "Guiltrip", Reflekta loses her usual behavior, being consumed by immense guilt, and continues sulking, even losing her will to fight when Ladybug and Cat Noir find her.

Powers and Abilities[]

Reflekta is able to shoot rays from the jewel she has on her right wrist, which transforms people into an identical physical copy of herself. Those transformed by her retain their normal voices and minds, but don't have her powers and lost their own abilities. However, if someone acquires a Miraculous after being transformed by Reflekta they can use it to transform as normal. It is unknown if detransforming in this state would turn them back to normal or if it would return them to being a clone of Reflekta. As clones, people are immune to subsequent hits from her ray. Reflekta is implied to be able to reverse the transformations as well, as she says to Hawk Moth that she will take care of getting Cat Noir's ring after getting the Ladybug Miraculous, despite having transformed him.

Reflekta seems to be able to float, as seen when she jumps around. She also is very strong and fast, quickly throwing multiple lockers in front of a door in the span of a couple of seconds and breaking free from a basketball hoop around her body.

Jewelry empowerment - after her bracelet got akumatized, she gained these abilities:
- Beam emission - she shoots a beam from her bracelet.
- Identity manipulation - when she shoots a beam, she can make anybody look like her.
Superhuman strength - she also has super strength as she lifted a locker and threw it to block an exit.
Superhuman reflexes - she can flip and high jump.

Season 1[]

Reflekta[]

After being prevented from participating in the class photo by Chloé Bourgeois, Juleka got akumatized into Reflekta, returning to the school she turns everyone into copies of herself by using her wrist mirror.

She faced off against Cat Noir but turned him into her copy of herself too. She then found Chloé and turned her into her look alike as punishment but came face to face with Ladybug. Their confrontation almost ended up with her taking Ladybug's Miraculous, however, thanks to a distraction from Cat Noir, Reflekta escapes and starts transforming people all over Paris. Making her way to City Hall she even transforms the mayor and hears of the heroes plan to stop her but she retorts by making a plan of her own. Using the mayor as bait to lure the heroes she tries to transform Ladybug but gets blocked by a transformed Cat Noir. After Ladybug destroys her wrist mirror, Reflekta returns to normal into Juleka and was taken back to school by the mayor.

Season 3[]

Reflekdoll[]

Filled with anger once again after missed a chance to a photoshoot for Marinette's design, Juleka was reakumatized into Reflekta but this time aided by a sentimonster Reflekdoll created by Hawk Moth's ally Mayura. With her sentimonster she started transforming everyone into her own image and started looking for her friends. Upon, finding them Reflekta started changing everyone and taunting them as she asked them how does it feel to left out of the picture, including Rose. Soon Reflekta was up against the heroes but this time with their jewels swapped as Mister Bug and Lady Noir. As she fought against them she climbed up the Eiffel Tower after them in Reflekdoll, at first she was briefly stunned by Mister Bug when he reflected her beam but was still coming.

But thanks to Lady Noir using Cataclysm on her sentimonster, she was sent plummeting down and lost control of the sentimonster and called the swapped heroes for help. Upon being taken out of her sentimonster, Reflekta thought the heroes looked ridiculous in their new look and attempted to zap them but was de-akumatized by Mister Bug before she could.

Felix[]

Reflekta became a member of the Punishers Trio with Lady Wifi and Princess Fragrance to get revenge on "Adrien". Despite some interference from Ladybug, Reflekta and her friends left to find Adrien upon entering his room they were surprised to find two of him realizing they had been tricked. Wanting the one that sent the nasty message they almost attacked Adrien until Nathalie rushed to his defense but made quick work of her and directed to Felix by Hawk Moth. Fighting Ladybug and Cat Noir on the roof of the Le Grand Hotel, the villainous trio had them in a three way crossfire and heard that Felix had his own demands through Hawk Moth they said they'd work something out. And yet, to Ladybug using a whipped cream spray can it led to a chain reaction with that, Reflekta and her friends being de-akumatized.

Season 4[]

Gang of Secrets[]

She appear, once again with Lady Wifi and Princess Fragrance, and also Timebreaker and Horrificator to reveal Marinette's secrets.

Guiltrip[]

Feeling guilty over revealing Rose's illness to her classmates who are treating her differently, Juleka is re-akumatized and amokized into Reflekta by Shadow Moth, and summons a sentimonster, Guiltrip. But Reflekta, still feeling immensely guilty, allows herself be absorbed by the sentimonster, much to Shadow Moth's horror.

When Ladybug, Cat Noir and Pigella try to find Reflekta, she is surrounded by countless bubbles, constantly belitting herself for making her classmates feel guilty. As Reflekta sees Pigella using her superpower, Gift, it is showed that Juleka's biggest desire is a normal day in class with nobody overreacting to Rose's condition. As this, Reflekta looks happy again leading to get rid of the bubbles surrounding her, allowing Cat Noir to cataclysm on her wrist mirror. This resulting Reflekta is de-akumatized into Juleka.

Trivia[]

A scarlet version of Reflekta briefly reappears in "Ladybug", but she is quickly de-akumatized.
Reflekta (Juleka's akumaztized villain name) may be a reference to the Reflekta camera.
Reflekta negates Cat Noir's Cataclysm with her powers by transforming him into her image, making his Miraculous disappear and preventing him from touching anything with Cataclysm.
- In "Reflekta", the titular villain revealed that she hates cats.
In "Guiltrip", Reflekta is the only villain who disobeying Shadow Moth, as she is consumed by guilt and let herself captured by her own titular sentimonster.
