Biography[]

Pride's role is very similar to its manga countepart. He is the strongest Homunculus and the only one who can grow old, yet he remains strong, agile and durable in the fight against his enemies. He was created by Dante and she considers him his final masterpiece. Acting as the Führer of Amestris's country, he still acts as the facade of a family man and charming public. He was a strong hatred for humans, and as well as his master personally organized the Ishval war (though in the manga version Envy orchestrated it), in order to create to the Pholosopher's Stone for Dante. And later during the events of the series he reenacts the Ishval War in Reole for the same purposes before. And eventually leading to his own nation the destruction and end of serving Dante rightly.

At the end of the series, Colonel Mustang confronts Pride, who reveals his cruel plans for the country and its genocides. And during the fight, Pride hurts Mustang. And eventually Pride's son Selim Bradley enters the dagger and briggs the treasure to his father who has kept behind a safe and which in the skull of Bradley's old body to his weakness. Furious at this, he grabs Selim's neck and says that even his own son is a fool like other humans. Mustang then kills Bradley using his skull as a shield.

Personality[]

He shares his personality with of his manga counterpart, including his hatred for humanity, his calm demeanor, and his ability to be friendly to the public, although all of this may just be a facade. From your manga counterpart, he also proved to be much sadistic, this was proved in his fight against Coronel Mustang and enjoying a cat and mouse game with Mustang. He also proved to be much more cruel and without redeeming qualities when he kills his own son by showing his personal treasure. And just like Envy while Homunculi want to be human, Pride didn't want that.

Powers and Ability[]

Pride as well as his manga version, he also has the Ultimate Eye, which has the ability to predict enemy movements, as well as superhuman agility, and unlike his manga counterpart, he like the other Homunculi can regenerate.
