Petey the Cat's unnamed butler is the secondary antagonist of the first Dog Man book, as he is the tertiary antagonist of chapter one and the secondary antagonist of the third chapter.
He's Petey’s butler that seems to always get on Petey’s nerves.

Dog Man[]
He first appears in chapter one on top of Petey’s “secret” lair watching Officer Knight and his dog Greg with his boss, Petey. He shows concern about the two, but Petey then explains to him on a chalkboard inside the lair how Officer Knight is strong but not smart and that Greg is smart but very weak. He tells Petey that the two could easily work together, which concerns Petey, so he creates a bomb.
The next day, Petey laughs maniacally as he watches Dog Man on top of the lair with his butler. Petey asks him what scares dogs the most, to which his response is firecrackers. Petey then tells him he's not wrong but tells him dogs are also afraid of vacuum cleaners as he shows his butler the giant vacuum cleaner he had created to vacuum up Dog Man. When telling the advantages of the vacuum cleaner, his butler tells him the advantages of firecrackers, much to his boss's disapproval. He later turns the vacuum on and isn't seen afterward the rest of the chapter.
He later reappears in chapter three, where he’s in the lair once again. Petey angrily reminds his butler that the trash needs to be taken out, which his butler states he took the trash out to a date. Petey then fires his butler due to his stupidity.
He later appears as Petey is walking back to his lair, where he’s in a carriage carried by humans instead of horses holding the same trash bag, as the two had somehow just married.
He appears on the last panel, cheering Dog Man for bringing books back to life as he is holding a baby carriage with a trash bag baby inside.
