The Penguin is a major antagonist in the Five Nights at Candy's series.
He serves as a major antagonist/anti-heroic tritagonist in Five Nights at Candy's and it's remake Five Nights at Candy's Remastered, a major antagonist in Five Nights at Candy's 2, and a cameo character in Five Nights at Candy's 3.
He is a penguin animatronic who is the waiter at Candy's Burgers & Fries. He helps the other animatronics kill the nightguards by messing with the door and window buttons in the security booth, though this can also backfire as it interferes with the animatronic's entrance.
Following the closing of the restaurant, Penguin and the others were moved to the Rowboatics Corp. factory, where they try to kill Marylin Schmidt.
Appearance[]
Penguin is a short penguin animatronic with large eyes and an orange beak. He wears a black tuxedo with a red bow tie and three black buttons on it. Though they aren't visible on his model, he uses wheels to move around.
When withered, he is missing his eyes, his beak, half of his bow tie and most of his plating.
Biography[]
Five Nights at Candy's/Five Night at Candy's Remastered[]
Penguin first appears on Night 2 where, as mentioned above, he will enter the security booth and interfere with the door and window buttons, allowing the other animatronics to kill Mary Schmidt. This continues until the end of the custom night, where Mary is fired.
Five Nights at Candy's 2[]
In 1989, RAT mutilates Chester the Chimpanzee for entering his room. Penguin collects his broken parts strewn across the restaurant and puts them in a storage box.
In 1993, after Candy the Cat is framed for killing the nightguard, he and the rest of the animatronics, including Penguin, are moved back to the factory. Years later, Mary's daughter Marylin is forced to stay five nights in the factory due to losing a bet with her friend. There, she encounters the now-withered animatronics, including Penguin. Penguin will hack into and crash the security camera, leaving Marylin open to attack from the other animatronics. Following Night 6, the factory burns down, presumably destroying Penguin and the rest of the animatronics.
Five Nights at Candy's 3[]
Though Penguin doesn't appear in the game itself, he does appear in the 'Fishing with Candy' minigame, where he collects the fish that Candy has dropped.

- In both of the first two games and the remake, the Penguin is the only animatronics who doesn't have a jumpscare.
- However, in Five Nights at Candy's 2, the security camera crashing could count as his jumpscare.
- The Penguin shares some similarities to Balloon Boy from the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise, since both have no jumpscare and rather interfere with the player's controls.
- There were actually three Penguin animatronics. This is the only one working.
- The Penguin is currently the only animatronic in the series who can speak.
