Paul Westin is a homosexual serial killer that appeared in Criminal Minds in episode Broke of season Eight.
History[]
Westin born in 1991, his mother was a sargeant who was invading Iraq in 2003 by the American troops during his youth. After the end of the invasion her mother was killed. He then began to develop homosexual feelings and began a relationship with a friend of the school named Mitchell Ruiz, who his father disapproved of the relationship. John finally sent his son, Paul alongside his friend Mitchell to a conversion camp, called Camp Willing, where they were abused and molested by a woman named Isabella Grant, John used to be in the living room when Isabella taught more than ever bothered to stop her because she tought that sexual abuse would help him mature and make him a man. He sometimes had sex with Isabella herself, which made Paul even more traumatized. In addition, the field is subject to electroshock. Mitchell also received abuses similar to what Paul received from Isabella. After leaving Camp Willing, Paul and Mitchell split up because of what they had spent in the camp. However they still remained good friends, some time later, Paul had repressed his homosexual impulses instead of obtaining professional help. He also had a relationship with Craig Pickett, then worried about the immediate depression he killed him and threw the body, wearing it with a sign of remorse. He then found Heather Wilson and tried to have sex with her, plus the due to her impotencem, he failed, so he killed her and put the broken watch on her wrist.
Paul is seen for the first time outside the bar and is approached by Michelle Bradley when he leaves a bachelorette party. He seduces her and they both get into a pickup truck, but he is unable to introduce himself. When she tried to leave, he forces her back to the truck, he then has a fit of rage he kills her. He then throws a broken watch on his wrist. After Paul meets up with his friend Doug, and they go to have sex, Doug realizes that Paul is nervous and tries to console him, but Paul remembers what Isabella and his had done to him, that he kills him, Paul tries clean the blood but can not, Paul then plays a broken clock.
Paul is later visited by Mitchell who is worried about Paul after hearing about Doug's death. Mitchell then notices the bloodstains and soon realizes Paul killed him. Not knowing what to do in this situation, Paul picks up one from his shelf. Paul then confesses his crimes to Mitchell while talking to him, Paul them has the idea of punishing his father. Paul then takes him to his father's house while he forces him under a gun's scope. He then tries to convince Mitchell to rape his father, when Mitchell resists it, John fights against Paul the bullet shoots and accidentally kills Mitchell. And he then shoots John several times killing him. The BAU arrives, and Paul tries to commit suicide, but Morgan and Rossi try to convince him to surrender and they say that he can help him close Willing's camp, he then surrenders, and Willing's officers are arrested next to Paul.
