Overdrive Ostrich is one eight Maverick bosses that appears in Megaman X2.
Ostrich is a member of the Maverick Hunters's 7th Airbone Unit where the Storm Eagle's command, but later here retired to fly after the accident. He later came to be recruited by Sigma, being stationed on abandoned missile base. He then lauches a remaining missile at the base plus the missile was destroyed by X, soon after Ostrich and fight, with X defeating Ostrich. The fight against Ostrich is difficult, Ostrich will run and kick the player, then using his Sonic Slicer that shoots cutting projectiles that fall to the ground. Its the player leaving the Ostrich off the screen he running in the background and jumped on the screen again. His weakness is the Crystal Hunter.
