Octobella is a major antagonist and one of the villains in the television series PJ Masks. She serves as the main antagonist on the second half of season 4 and a major antagonist on season 5. She is a humanoid octopus-girl that has been living in the moat for an unknown amount of time. He is Gekko's archenemy and an ally of the Bad Guys United.
Octobella first appeared as a cameo taking the crystal that Gekko teleported with in the episode "Gekko Everywhere".
Octobella then made her full appearance in the season 4 episode "Octobella", where she attempted to befriend the PJ Masks but Octobella turned against them when she found out that Gekko was the one who took the pondweed.
Octobella reappeared in the episode Octo-Trouble, in this episode she took the form of Gekko to ruin her reputation as a hero.
In the episode Magnet in the Moat, pretending to help Luna Girl and Motsuki to take the moon magnet for herself.
In the episode Octobella's garden, Octobella pretends befriending Armadylan, for Armadylan to get rid of the PJ Masks.
In the episode Splashy Splash, Octobella pretends to be a fan of the Flossy Flash, so she can trick Owlette, and get Owlette trapped in the new Flossy Flash comic.
In Bubbles Of Badness, Octobella uses force field bubbles to take everything Gekko loves, causing Gekko to go on a rampage and confront Octobella with not holding back.
In Octobella Strikes Again, Octobella creates a new weapon out of some of Romeo's metal parts, that night Gekko stays at his house, which makes Gekko decide whether to stay at his house or help Catboy and Owlette fight Octobella and Percival.
In Octobella on the Loose, Octobella, with the help of Percival, gets a crystal that grows huge tentacles, with which she thinks she can finally defeat the PJ Masks.
At Pondweed Party, Octobella pretends befriending Orticia to create a plant which is capable of trapping the PJ Masks.
In A Percival Problem, after so much physical and verbal abuse, Percival gets fed up with the way Octobella treats him, so Percival reveals himself to Octobella, and Octobella has to apologize to Percival if she wants her garden back.
In Captain Pirate Robot, Octobella steals Pirate Robot's ship, so the pirate asks the PJ Masks for help.
In Night Ninja's School of Naughtiness, Octobella along with Luna Girl and Romeo attend Night Ninja's school but they don't know what the evil ninja was really planning.
Personality[]
Octobella is a beautifull villain and very possessive with all kinds of magical things that are in the moat, which she deems as "hers," and is vengeful and unforgiving to those who she believes are stealing them from her. She's also quite deceptive, egotist and arrogant person. It is even shown in several episodes that sometimes she only cares about herself and doesn't care about anyone else. Octobella also doesn't mind that she hurts others as much as Gekko and Percival (sometimes). Despite her unforgiving nature towards the PJ Masks, Octobella, like other nighttime villains, seems to have a soft spot for her sidekick, Percival, though, like how Romeo, Luna Girl and Night Ninja do to the Moths, Robots and Ninjalinos, and like Romeo, Night Ninja, and Luna Girl, Octobella is also cruel, ruthless, and selfish towards her partner, Persival, as shown in the episodes Magnet in the moat, a Percival Problem, and Pondweed Party, which has led Octobella to suffer what Persival raises when Octobella abuses him physically and verbally. But no matter how mean Octobella is to Persival, they always make up and inside Octobella cares and loves Persival very much.
Powers and Abilities[]
Octobella has many talents and powers and among them is the one she uses the most, Crystal Current: Which can create powerful whirlpools that she uses to trap her enemies, another of Octobella's powers is that, like Gekko, Octobella can camouflage herself. As she says in her hobbies, Octobella likes to collect crystals, which give Octobella different and unique special abilities such as changing shape, creating giant tentacles, etc. Among her other powers are the Glowing Orbs that allow her to become imnotized. her enemies, Magic Octopus Ink that allows her to create portals, with the Sonic Song She can create sonic waves with her country western yodeling abilities while underwater, Bioluminescense that allows her body to glow in the dark in extremely dark places, Bubble Force Fields that they allow her to trap her opponents in force fields or protect herself from powerful attacks.
Appearance[]
Octobella is a humanoid octopus-girl of medium height, Octobella has tentacles on her head as a hairstyle (similar to meduza), the color of her body and eyes is light blue and yellow markings on her body, it is estimated that Octobella may be between Age 7 or 8, she also wears a purple beaded necklace with a dark purple shell hanging in the middle where she places one of her magic crystals. The main crystal that is usually placed there is purple, implying that the crystal may be the one with which she transforms from her civilian form to her villainous form.
Trivia[]
She is the third villain to trick Armadylan in the season 4 episode "Octobella's Garden".
Curiously, her appearance in said episode's storyboard bears a resemblance to Romeo (especially the hair), but with tentacles.
However, despite her skin color, she also bears more of an equal resemblance to Ursula and Morgana, the villians in Disney's The Little Mermaid films.
