Michael ''Mike'' Hicks is a villain of the Criminal Minds that appears as the main antagonist of the episode The Crossing in season Three.
He was portrayed by Scott Lowell.
Hick's past life was not revealed unless he has a deceased grandmother, somethime before the episode, Hicks began chasing a woman named Keri Derzmond in Atlanta, and believing that Keri was in love with him when she touched the his hand while he worked on his computer. Determine to win his love, he began to lift weights to improve his appearance. Eventually assuring Keri that he moved to Maryland, to his affliction.
Somehow, Hicks finds Keri in Maryland, and sends a picture of his biceps and a message that says, ''I'm back''. Keri then calls BAU, and they are called, JJ, Morgan, Prentiss and Reid to solve the case, Keri and Reid find their gate in front of their missing dog. Missing dog. Mike then shows up at his apartment and then says, ''You miss her, do not you? I miss her too''. Prentiss and JJ appear and tell Keri and Ryan to play along with the stalker, that he must confront her because he does not believe he has any intention of hurting her. Garcia then does a search and finds out that Keri had an abortion and that the was Ryan's, but she had never told him. Ryan then runs away when he sees his windshield of the broken car. Soon the next day, Keri walks down the street and sees Mike and recognizes him as the man he has seen several times in Atlanta, meanwhile Ryan finds his car and discovers that a man had paid him to walk the dog. Meanwhile, Mike invades the house and confronts Keri kidnaps her in his van.
Keri then discovers that Keri has been kidnapped, while Keri tries to gain Mike's attention to keep alive by giving him praise and nothing, Mike then prepares to kiss her, however, Keri says if she can put the van to walk along the water, which Mike accepts. He then holds it tight and drives the van while picking up his gun, Mike and Keri go to the pier, but when the BAU arrives, Mike points the gun at Keri's head, after Prentiss tries to persuade Mike to surrender, and soon after, Morgan jumps back and faces Hicks, handcuffing him.
