Michael Afton's Friends are supporting antagonists of the Five Nights at Freddy's 4 minigame segments, serving as the secondary antagonists of the fifth and penultimate minigame. They are accomplices of Michael Afton, who assist him in tormenting his younger brother, accidentally to death.
Appearance[]
Due to wearing masks, their gender is ambiguous, but it is mostly accepted that the Bonnie and Freddy bullies are male and the Chica bully is male or female depending on the interpretation.
The Bonnie Masked Bully is a black-haired, large kid with a red shirt, grey shoes and greenish-blue shorts. He appears to be stronger than the other bullies accompanying the Brother.
The Chica Masked Bully is a dark-brown haired kid wearing a blue shirt, dark brown shoes and orangish-brown shorts. She/He is the shortest of the bullies.
The Freddy Masked Bully is a blonde-haired kid wearing a green shirt, navy blue shorts, and tan-shoes. He seems to be more average than the others.
Biography[]
The Freddy Bully can be seen in Night 3's minigame without his mask, taunting the child. The bullies are shown as the secondary antagonists on Night 5's minigame, revealing that the child's brother was not the only one bullying him. On the day of the little brother's birthday party at Fredbear's, Michael and the bullies surround the child, making fun of how pathetic he is.
After making fun of how scared he is, Michael orders them to take his sibling close to Fredbear. On his orders, they put the child in the mouth of Fredbear to "give him a big kiss". However, Fredbear bites the child and all four bullies stand there in shock and horror. Their fate afterwards is unknown.
Personality[]
Little is known about them, but it can be assumed they have a similar personality to Mike and enjoy the suffering of the little brother. It is most likely they didn't intend for the child to get bit, seeing as they stood there shocked, and stopped laughing when the child was bitten. However, whether they felt truly bad like Michael for what they did or were scared for the trouble they would get in because of their "prank" is unclear.
Trivia[]
- Some people speculate that these children were the original victims of the missing child incident.
- It is also speculated that each child possesses the animatronic with the face of the mask each individual one wore (for example, the bully in the Freddy mask would become Freddy Fazbear).
- However this theory is unlikely as the missing children were implied to be much younger than the bullies, around the ages of 7 to 10 while the bullies seem to be teenagers.
- It is speculated that the Freddy mask bully is Jeremy Fitzgerald before Five Nights at Freddy's 2 or Kelsey from Fazbear Frights: The New Kid.
- It's unknown what happened to them since they're never seen again for the rest of the series.
- It can be assumed that the Bite of '83 traumatized them to the point where they broke off their friendship with Michael afterwards. Although, one could argue that they simply went their separate ways as time went on.
- It is assumed that the bully with Bonnie's mask is the father of Cassie and/or Jeremy Fitzgerald from Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach RUIN and 2. In the game, it shown that Bonnie was her father's favorite character, possessed merch that was common in the 80s and her clothing style matches that of the bully. This could mean that after the Bite the Bonnie bully grew to become a technician for Fazbear Entertainment and in his fifties conceived and/or adopted Cassie.
- Those who believe that the Fazbear Frights stingers and the stories connecting to them are in the same universe was the videogames theorize that Oswald's Dad from Into the Pit is the Freddy mask bully. In the 2024 videogame adaptation of the story, Oswald has a chance of finding a vintage Freddy mask when he opens the attic, implying that one of his parents owned it and that they were keeping it a secret from the rest of the family.
