Mewtwo is the main antagonist of Pokémon: The First Movie, and an anti-hero in Pokemon: Mewtwo Returns. His goal was to exterminate all humans and their Pokémon, and repopulate the world with clones of Pokémon. Later, after Ash Ketchum was brought back to life towards the end of The First Movie, he would be redeemed and help the heroes.
