Good morning, sir. I came to your wiki by chance. Turns out you like fiction villains, and so do I. So I invite you to check out my own wiki that does pretty much the same thing as you do, and why not contribute to it. (Link: https://fictional-evilness.fandom.com/wiki/Video_Games_Evil_Wiki) This request must seem strange to you, especially since we don't know each other, but any member of Fandom is someone who has goals in common with me. And I have a question: how did you get contributors for your wiki? Thank you in advance.
I'm at a point where any new wikis I'm involved in are usually because there's no one else to deal with vandalism. There's a couple that I'm personally interested in but don't often have time.
I haven't done any advertising for this wiki. Some of the people were already here when I became involved. Others find it on their own.
You started your own wiki but you're saying it's just about the same as this one. That's going to be your challenge. There's already a Villains Wiki for all villains, one for Disney-specific villains (Wickedpedia), an Evil Wiki for fictitious evil characters and things, and this wiki for antagonists in general. You have to decide what is going to be unique about your wiki so that when people search for something like Bowswer from the Mario games, your wiki will have a chance to stand out and not be buried on page 18 of the search results. Anything you copy from other wikis won't help with that.
I know you may want to run your own wiki, but I think you should read the "Duplicate Wikis" section of the Community Creation Policy. You're facing an uphill battle because by your own admission, you're duplicating subjects that are on more-established wikis. You're probably going to have better results helping them than going out on your own.
Ah, I didn't expect that. I advertise my wiki, and that's my right. I don't care whether you did it or not. Then, indeed, I have my own way of working that you can see if you analyze my wiki in detail.
This appears to be the first time they've been on this wiki. They made an edit to four separate pages but I'm not familiar with the show so I can't tell if the edits were deliberately done wrong or if it's just a misunderstanding.
I do need to point out that the way Fandom wikis are set up, very few can be made that only one person can control, and those are personal blogs. Technically, everything on a wiki becomes community property, even if only one person happens to edit a page.
You were one of the two people blocked for that reason, so if I were to set a block here, it could be viewed as retaliation.
You've provided a reason to me why you removed that information, and this is a good example of why it's important to put a reason in the Edit Summary box every time you make an edit. Without saying why you're changing something, it can look like it's vandalism or just arbitrary. A common tactic of vandals is to remove information from pages.
Finally, I'm not a big fan of classifications like "Complete Monster", "Pure Evil", etc. No matter how many times wikis that use these try to get people to stick to guidelines about what qualifies, it always seems to devolve into personal opinion and edit wars of "yes they are", "no they aren't".
Yo RRabbit42, you better unban meh from the Dora wiki, I was just tryin' a show LARRAH that Benny the Bull is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY better than Mami Tomoe! Like, GOSH, banning me from the Dora wiki cuz I'm tryin' to show that one of the Dora characters is BETTER than Mami Tomoe! UGH! I CAN'T LET LUG BE RIGHT! Lug Von Koopa said this was a bad idea and that I'd get banned, Lug was like "Iggy! You're gonna get banned" but I said "nah, cuz they agree that Benny the Bull is FAR hotter than that stupid ugly Mami Tomoe" cuz LARRAH IS WRONG, but APPARENTLY NOT! What, do you like big gross boobs instead of big HOT Pennises? Like, I'm gonna show two pictures, and I'm gonna ask you. Which one you think is FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRR Hotter, picture 1 or picture 2? Now take your pick, which one is soooooooooooooooo muuucchhh hotter, I personally think picture 1, but that STUPID LARRAH thinks picture 2 is hotter, even though it's clear that picture 1 is way hotter! LARRY keeps tryin' tuh excuse his bullshit with it's his opinion but it's FACT that Benny the Bull is hotter! IT'S NOT EVEN FAIR HOW LARRAH KEEPS SAYING BENNY THE BULL IS UGLY AND GROSS EVEN THOUGH HE'S SO HOT AND PERFECT! MAMI TOMOE IS UGLY AND GROSS! But apparently you don't agree even though it's clear fact that Benny is hotter!
If you were actually trying to express your opinion, a blog that doesn't include flamebait would have been the better way to do it. However, since you've returned to another wiki to vandalize it again, all of the above appears to be an attempt to justify the vandalism.
I will never be banned, because I follow the rules on wikis that I’ve been on, including this wiki. And you will be sorry. And @RRabbit42 don’t listen to this guy, because he’s being kind of disrespectful.
Who I am is really no concern of yours. And you need to know that editing pages is serious, but it can kind of still be fun. And like Villains wiki, these words tertiary, quaternary, quinary, and other words for each antagonists are really no longer used on this wiki, but main, secondary, central, major, supporting, and minor are.
I took a look through the policies and my own blogs, and it turns out that preventing antagonist fussing isn't an official policy here. I think it was going to be an unofficial policy or guideline until I could work with RedCoatOfficial to make it a policy, but never followed through with that.
Lizardnut101, the short version of why this was going to be done is there have been a lot of people who spent a lot of their time (sometimes all of their time) trying to figure out exactly what kind of antagonist characters are. A lot of these people kept changing that label just to change it and never had a reason for doing so. Some even contradicted themselves when they did it. It became a type of edit war and vandalism, so I kind of got the ball rolling on a few wikis to get people to stop doing that.
It's something that needs to get started here, so the way you can help out is don't even bother with trying to say what kind of an antagonist characters are. Write about the things they do and how they interact with other characters. That's more important anyway than trying to pin them down with a specific antagonist label.
Lizardnut101 keeps antagonist fussing and edit warring over the Darth Maul article and other articles that are completed, and I’ve told him to stop already and he keeps ignoring me. So can you please block this user, like when you have a chance?
I'm sorry you are having problems with this person. I am a Christian believer, so it is my job to be compassionate. This person shouldn't cyber bully you, and you shouldn't let him get to you either. And well, I am having problems too. I don't know why, but there must be a good reason.
Lizardnut101 was blocked for a while. I've been letting them edit a bit since they got back and I see a little that could be considered antagonist fussing, but they do appear to be trying not to do that as much any more.
