Lucifer also known as Satan or other names like The Devil, Light Bringer, The Morning Star, The Adversary, The Dark Prince, The Serpent, The Accuser. He is the main antagonist of Supernatural in seasons of 5 and 14, he is also the most recurrent antagonist of series, and three of the protagonist archenemy the Winchester brothers, Sam and Dean, and the angel Castiel, besides the other two new protagonist to appear Jack and the mother of the brother Winchester, Mary Winchester.
He was portrayed by Mark Pellegrino. Jared Padalecki in season 5, and the Misha Collins that was in season 11 and Michael Querin, David Chisum and Rick Springfield in season 12.
Personality[]
Lucifer was the most beloved and beautiful Archangel created by God, throughout his existence. God loved Lucifer more than the other angels, because of the high level among the other angels, however when makind was created, and God commanded that all angels love humans more that him who kneels-without, in the however, Lucifer refused and tried to convenser Michael to join him but Michael refused Lucifer's alliance and due to his pride he did not accept the existence of humans and was expelled from paradise because of this, this made Lucifer angry, he then retaliated by distorting the soul of a human woman who would be Lilith, after completely taking away his humanity and practically created the first demon.
Lucifer has even been told by Crowley that does not emphatize with the demons since he only considers them less than his servants, and considers them also less worthy than the human beings, and when none of them have no further use for him, he will simply eradicate them, this was shown when Lucifer did the ritual using the demons die, and Sam is shocked to see that, Lucifer casually tells Sam that '' they're just demons'', thus showing complete indifference and compempt for the lives of their own allied demons.
It can be said that Lucifer also tells his vessels that he never lies because he does not need to tell Nick that he is his ''vessel backup'', and that he will completely honest with them, he also states that he sympathizes with his vessels. He even tries to make some efforts to try to accept Sam including sparing Dean's life, and allowing Sam to kill some of the demons that control his life. However this has already been shown that Lucifer cheats from time to time, and that he uses this to gain confidence rather than a real commitment, he distorts everything in his favor with sees himself in advantage.
Lucifer also despises the Pagans, since he considers them petty and worse than the demons and the human being, he simply kills Mercury what was a traitorous Pagan, he soon afterwards kills all the other demons brutally even though not being a threat to him.
But forward in the series his character became increasingly gloomy as time passed in the series, this was shown when he kidnapped Jack and Sam, and stole the grace of his son, Jack, he soon revealed that he had no empathy Jack and even tried to kill him once.

He then trapped and chained in the cage, he soon devised a plan to take revenge on humanity and God.

In this episode, Lucifer eventually gets rid of the cage and start apocalypse he then goes behind one of his shells, he then finds Nick a human who lost his son who was murder, Nick himself is shaken by it, Lucifer appears in the his dream with the appearance of his wife, and uses his weakness for his son to succeed in possessing it which Nick says yes Lucifer, and Lucifer takes his behavior.
Free To Be You and Me[]
Sam and Dean have had an ugly fight since Lucifer's release, they then split up, Lucifer then invades Sam's dream of disguising himself as Jessica, and then he turns out to be Lucifer all the time, Lucifer says that Nick was Plan B, and that real one is Sam, after realizing this Sam will not tell his location. Lucifer then tries to convince Sam to say yes, but Sam does not, but Lucifer calmly says that he will say that in Detroit and quits.
Abandon All Hope[]
Lucifer summoned Death
Lucifer has Castiel who is trapped inside the sacred fire in circle. Castiel soon realizes that there is something wrong with his vessel, Lucifer soon says that Nick is not his real vessel and that he needs Sam for this. One of her demons, Meg soon reports everything to Lucifer that she cornered the Winchesters and asks Lucifer what she should do with them. She soon begins to protest when Lucifer instructs her and leaves them alone. It calms her down and ensures that everything has a motive. Lucifer turns to Castiel and offers him an alliance for last time. That the same refuses, Lucifer then leaves Meg to watch over Castiel and leaves.
Sam and Dean Winchester go with the Colt who was given to Crowley to be able to kill Lucifer, Dean comes close to him and shoots him so Lucifer stays intact even though he shows pain, Lucifer then gets up and asks Dean where he got it and knocks him down. After that, Castiel appears and teleports Sam and Dean Winchesters, since they were forced to retreat because the Colt the weapon that kills any supernatural being minus the five creatures of creation, did not work against Lucifer.
After this, Lucifer then completes the rituals and summons Death to give the beginning of the apocalypse.
Hammer of the Gods[]
Soon the Pagan Gods began their plans to prevent the Apocalypse from happening attracting the Winchester brothers in a hotel named Elysion, where they would take the unsuspecting humans, when the Winchesters brothers discover this they soon resolve to try save the people, however the pagones soon prevented them to do so, soon Gabriel (who was disguised as Loki), one of the Winchesters's acquaintances appears and teleports them from inside the hotel, he is unmasked by Kali stabs him with a false blade that kills archangels.
When Dean comes back and sees Gabriel revealing to Dean that the blade that Kali had stabbed was fake, Dean tries to convince him to help him kill Lucifer that Gabriel novertheless denies helping him. Mercury betrays the Pagans when he calls Lucifer to kill him only to get out, however, Lucifer becomes infuriated by the petty attitude of Mercury and the Pagans and he mocked them saying that they were worse than humans and the demons for being many and Lucifer then kills Mercury by telekinesis, and Lucifer (still says they say I am proud), Lucifer then goes to the direction where this Baldur, Kali and the brothers Winchesters, he kills Isis, and the gods with ease, he crushes Odin's face with a scorn with Odin screaming in pain, Ganesh then goes in the direction of Lucifer for try to crush him, however he is pulverized by Lucifer, then Barin Samedi arrives and tries to give him a fist, but Lucifer refuses his and destroy him. Then Lucifer appears and rebukes Baldur's arrogant assertion by saying (Of course they did not say mother I can go and he speaks Sam and Dean how nice to reveal them), after Baldur ignores Kali's warning to Lucifer (You think is the owner of the planet which gives him the planet which gives him the right), Baldur tries kill Lucifer but is fatally wounded and Lucifer still mocks him saying that (Nobody gives me the right I take), Baldur then immediately dies, Kali then revolted with the death of Baldur, tries to kill Lucifer using his fire power and trying to kill him alive, however Lucifer is unharmed and without suffering any damage he punches her and prepares to kill her, Gabriel appears gives a videos to the brothers Winchesters who shows how to defeat Lucifer and prevent the apocalypse from happening, and Gabriel saves Kali from being killed by Lucifer.
After Gabriel has saved Kali, Lucifer then mocks him for having it, however, Gabriel also does the same, after that, Lucifer asks if he is doing it for Michael, but Gabriel rebuts the question saying ''if I was here'', Lucifer then accuses him of being disloyal, but he says that his loyalty is to them, and at first Lucifer thought it was the Pagans, but Gabriel was soon to be human, thus annoying Lucifer, Gabriel tries to unlock him to stab him with one of the clones made by him, but Lucifer realizes this and the slaughter killing him, more than in fact he had survived and secretly abducted by Loki and Asmodeus who made him an agreement for his own goal, Asmodeus to save himself from the apocalypse and Loki revenge for the death of Odin.
Swan Song[]
Sam and Dean being willing to put Lucifer in the cage, Dean finally agrees and Sam intends say yes Lucifer can throw himself into the cage. Meet the New Boss (Hallucination)[]
Sam ends up with hallucinations of chains and weft after left Lucifer's cage, Sam and Dean along with Bobby intended to summon Death to defeat Castiel, they call Crowly that the same terrified soon reveals that Castiel is all heads of Castiel is all heads of Castiel. Hello, Cruel World (Hallucination)[]
After Castiel allegedly died in the lake, Sam ends up having Lucifer's haunting again, which in the end shows to the worried Dean, that Dean demands to know what this brings with Sam, which the same reveals to see Lucifer's halucination, which Dean then gets a little shocked at Sam's revelation. After leaving Sam alone with this Lucifer's halucination takes the appearance of Dean and takes him to a workshop and drribing a car in an unspeakable way, the halucination soon reveals leaving Sam angry had not knowing how to do, Dean goes until Sam though a tracker that he soon the Sam who is disturbed by the hallucination, Dean then calms and squeezes the finger in the hand of Sam that and the halucination disappearing that then Sam does this and the halucination disappears, taler that the Winchester have just fought Edgar and attack him with a car, Sam is taken to the hospital and sees the Lucifer's haunting again.
Repo Man (Hallucination)[]
After helping Sam solver a case that was frorm a demon they had sent to hell, and was released by Jeffrey who was a human he had possessed and a serial killer, the hallucination then begins to infer Sam and the episode ends after that.
The Born-Again Identify[]
While on a street the hallucination of Lucifer continues to haTunt him and eventually made Sam get stoned and sent to the hospital and then to the psychiatrist hospital where Sam ended up staying. Dean after talking to a man named Dr. Kadinsky, he then visits Sam at the shrinking hospital, and promises him that he will seek help. Soon after Lucifer's hallucination appears, reading in a psychiatrist's book and soon begins to read about narcisistic personality disorder, and he soon starts reading and talking with Sam that while the simple Sam ignores him, soon after Kadinsky appears to talk to Sam, soon after he reveals himself to be the hallucination once again torturing Sam, shortly after a while, Sam is seen talking to another patient named who offers him a candy bar for Sam after the hallucination uses an instrument voice in public to upset Sam, and Marin flees after being scared of him.
Just before a nurse named Marcus hands her the food, Sam talks to the other hallucination, when Marcus arrives he thanks him for the food and asks about Marin that Marcus replies that can not talk about it and that other than Sam she is not in psychiatry by accident and then he leaves, and the hallucination haunts him with the firecracker. After Sam promises Marin that he will help her to stop her brother who is a ghost, after Marin tells him that he will help her to stop her brother who is a ghost, after Marin tells him that he needs to sleep if not nails his hair and kidneys will stop, after that Lucifer's hallucination of that. Later in the end Castiel along with Meg and Dean kill several demons, Castiel then inform that he is normal and not a curable problem, in Castiel resolve to change his madness for himself.

The Devil in the Details[]
The episode begins when Lucifer enters Rowena's dream, and kill's Crowley in the dream. After putting Sam inside the cage, he tries to convince him that he needs him to defeat Amara, but Sam denies his help, then Lucifer shows some of his memories as a teenager and a girl, then Lucifer shows another memory in the fight. Lucifer against Michael, and Lucifer claims he does not like Sam but he also claims he had claw. Lucifer then shows another remembrace that Sam was dating Amelia Richardson at that time when Dean and Castiel were trapped in Purgatory, after Lucifer protested some decisions Sam had taken, after a long conversation with Sam and even mentioning his brother, Michael. Gabriel and Raphael. After a while Lucifer tries to talk to Sam that he can beat The Darknest, however Sam denies his help by letting Lucifer furious that he attacks and taleports both Dean and Castiel into the cage after a long fight between him Sam and Dean Winchester and Castiel, when Lucifer picks up Dean and threatens him if Sam says yes, Castiel goes up to him, and Lucifer beats him, Lucifer manages to make Castiel say yes, that later on Castiel's body he leaves the cage.

The demons then bring the guns to Lucifer, who Lucifer then mocks Crowley to caress Crowley's head mocking him, Lucifer then pulls Crowley's ear, then Crowley is prentending, then Lucifer says he has tamed Crowley, then Lucifer he mocks his pride to be the King of Hell, Lucifer then rebukes Crowley if he has some treacherous thoughts and demands that Crowley speak the truth, Crowley in his reply he soon says he is not very strong for having taken his weapons for having Lucifer then tells him that he is very clever doggie, he then gives the reason, and the Lucifer tells him that he is a very clever doggie, for Crowley and says it is not equipped and says that defeating Amara can be more a group effort.
Castiel then disguised Castiel soon to help the brothers Winchesters, Sam thinking that he is Castiel he soon asks if it should even travel in time, but Dean says that this should be done, and even with Sam questioning the idea, then Sam finishes Lucifer then sends him back in 1943, Lucifer then comes back and says that every wet person who could not travel in time. Because of the sacrifice Delphine to stop the Nazis, Lucifer takes Dean back in the past, Sam then warns Dean that it is not Castiel and yes Lucifer, after being discovered by Dean he then strikes him and puts him down, Castiel then mocks to have jobs with the brothers Winchesters under the guise of Castiel, then Lucifer uses his telekinesis and sends and to the other corner, Lucifer then takes the hand of God while Dean prepares to use the symbol so it can expel it, Lucifer then tries to use more the hand has already been used, he then tries to attack Dean more is spied.

However, Lucifer just thanked him for taking him out and warns Crowley because of his revenge so he will end up ill, Lucifer then starts laughing at him and telling Crowley if he really thinks he will tell Crowley that it's sad, Crowley then picks up the chain around Lucifer's neck and drops him on the floor saying he enjoys the taste of the floor and needs to be blown out, after which Lucifer ignores him and tells Crowley that he won't realize when he's knocked over, and after that he mentions Jack, who Crowley says she miscarried, but Lucifer says he is still alive, and then the Winchesters call Crowley while Lucifer listens to everything and after that, Lucifer ironically says that both he and Crowley are singles parents.
Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell[]
Then Lucifer and Crowley appear exchanging threats to each other, and then when Crowley leaves the room to meet the Winchester on a Hellhound and the Winchesters through Crowley discover that the creature only obeys Lucifer. While Lucifer continues to argue about being in the apocalyptic universe and personal facts of each other. When Mary is aborted by a hunter who tries to rape her, however she is saved by Lucifer who kills the hunter, and then reprimands Mary for running away from him, and when Mary irritates him, he then gives his power to punish her. And soon after Lucifer claims to be himself, the angels say that Lucifer and when the angels prepare to attack Lucifer kills them making them crush, and soon after of Lucifer killing the angels, Michael appears and introduces himself to Lucifer. Michael disputes that Lucifer is alive, that Lucifer claims to be from another universe, Michael says that he killed his apocalyptic universe Lucifer. With this Lucifer and Michael then fight each other, however, Michael soon manages to dominate him, Lucifer says that he will kill you but Michael says maybe not.
War of the Worlds[]
After being defeated Michael from the apocalyptic universe, Michael then soon used his psychic powers and traveled into Lucifer's mind and saw his world, Michael after doing so, he soon saw that Lucifer's greatest fear is to return to the cage, Michael then tells Lucifer that he will be there in complete loneliness and agony, Lucifer then sends Michael to hell, that Michael in his answer, he takes a piece of blade that is inside his cage that Lucifer and sticks in Lucifer and sticks in Lucifer who screams of pain. He then says that Michael was responsible for the disasters of the apocalyptic universe, and after a long talk about Jack, however Lucifer gets angry and tells him not to provoke, but Asmodeus is not afraid of him, and knocks him down with telekinesis and then arrests him in a separate cell on the side along with Castiel while pulling away from Castiel while talking to Dean on the cellphone.
Various & Sundry Villains[]
After being taken by the demons of Asmodeus along with Castiel, he loses his grace for Michael, and demon named appears and mocks Lucifer, Castiel says he is without powers and the demons know this, Lucifer says that if he had his grace he would destroy the Dipper, he then calmly sits down and says that Asmodeus was his weakest creation. Soon after, Anael is met by the Winchesters and Castiel, she says Lucifer threatened to drain her grace, she then leads them to Lucifer who was previously reading, Sam and Dean along with Castiel appear and prepares to kill Lucifer, however Anael takes down Sam, who Lucifer with telekinesis pushes Castiel into the wall and after he throws Dean at the breaking door, the then twists the Winchesters and walks away. Lucifer and Anael later seek out Duma and propose to make a partnership that at first she denies herself and sends the angels to kill him, but Lucifer says this weak, Lucifer gets Duma to join Heaven and he sits on a throne as the new leader.
Bring 'em Back Alive[]
While Dean and Ketch are in the apocalyptic universe to save Mary, and Sam along with Castiel are taking care of Gabriel, and Lucifer appears playing cards alone and when Anael appears, he asks where she was, she then questions her leadership, Duma appears and informs that The angels are looking for Jack. Lucifer later appears in suit and glasses and dark, later a demon named Anthony owns a woman (which was a parody of the movie The Exorcist), Lucifer asks him what he's doing, Anthony says he's just enjoying it, Lucifer then exorcised him, Lucifer with his mind, when Lucifer introduces himself to the duo of priests, the frightened priests begin to try to exorcise him, Lucifer tries to calm him down, plus he sees that it's no use and kills them by making them smoke. Lucifer later appears complaining about the world, she demands that he make angels and wings to what already exist, however when she gets closer, he tries to kill him, but she retaliates and says she is no longer with him and go away.

With this, Lucifer finds Sam killed by the vampires and Lucifer raises him, and is terrified when Lucifer appears in the apocalyptic universe, Lucifer later explains that he was going to kill Rowena, but she accidentally threw him into the apocalyptic universe before he had a chance to do so this Lucifer later demands that Sam denies it, Lucifer threatens him by letting the vampires devour him, with that Lucifer lets him out and Sam and Lucifer meets Dean, Mary, Jack, Castiel and Gabriel.

After Jack accepts conversation with Lucifer even with Castiel's allegations that talking to may not be a good idea, but Jack says he will only hear what he has to say, Lucifer then pretends to be thrilled and says that being a dad is new to him, and Lucifer says that if Jack has some questions he would like to know, Jack then asks why everyone hates Lucifer, who then Lucifer says it's all a lie, but Castiel says that this is not quite the truth, that Lucifer prentending remorse says yes he did something he is not very proud of and says that humans are incorruptible but Jack says his mother was human that Lucifer says very incorruptible but Jack says his mother was human that Lucifer says very incorruptible and that humans are not perfect and are made to make mistakes and when they need to blame someone. And After a conversation with Lucifer, Dean then pops up and cuts off their conversation, and after Jack says he has to know about his powers, and Castiel says we are his family. After a group of angels run towards Gabriel to try to attack the Winchesters brothers and the others, but Lucifer kills them. Lucifer later appears talking to Jack about Michael and that he tortured Jack, and soon after Lucifer and Jack talks to Gabriel, and Lucifer mentions God with Michael, who Gabriel soon says if he thinks God was the bad guys and Lucifer was the victim and that Gabriel says that Lucifer was not victim and that it was just an excuse of Lucifer.
After a while, Lucifer appears alone and bothered by not being with Jack, Gabriel then asks Lucifer if he sees a version of him with Jack by his side, which Lucifer in response says that Jack got in a press, however Gabriel tells Lucifer that Jack doens't like Lucifer that he has Kelly Kline's blood and the influence of the Winchesters, Lucifer then says he can be an influence, but Gabriel soon says he won't do that and will know that what Lucifer is, but Lucifer falsely says that he has charged, but Gabriel soon says that he knows Lucifer and that he is unable to changed or empathize and that he lives to be worshiped or feared or even both. Then both Gabriel and Lucifer start arguing and Gabriel then explains to Lucifer that humans were innocent and that Lucifer got jealous, and tried to corrupt humans to show their flaws and that God locked him up because he saw that the Lucifer evils were like the beggining of a cancer that would turn into an epidemic unless it was excreted, Lucifer manages to convince Jack not to fight Michael that he agrees. After everyone's withdrawal from the apocalyptic universe, Michael appears and fights against Lucifer and defeats him, then Gabriel fights against Michael plus the kills him easily, Sam cheats on Lucifer, and he and Michael are trapped in the apocalyptic universe. However Lucifer and Michael unite to leave the apocalyptic universe using the ritual that Lucifer decorated to leave.

When Meg one of the people who was in the apocalyptic universe dies, Sam and Dean along with Castiel and Jack begin to investigate what leads to Nate who was in love with her, however when Jack goes after him thinking he's the killer and finds out the doesn't by the Winchesters. After Jack leaves and meets Lucifer, who is surprised to learn that the devil has managed to get out of the apocalyptic universe, Jack says that Sam and said Michael killed him that Lucifer then reveals that he lied and that he left him behind, Lucifer after trying to manipulate Jack to leave the earth and Jack says that first he has to do something first, Lucifer then revives Meg. the girl he had killed before. Later when Michael fights the Winchesters brothers and Castiel and easily defeats them, Sam asks Jack to save them, that Jack appears and attacks Michael, who then orders Michael to help Lucifer, the devil tries to stop Jack from attacking Michael, but then Jack discovers that Lucifer was all this time in alliance with Michael through the Winchesters brothers, and then when Lucifer is discovered, he then steals the grace of Jack by strenghthening. Soon after Lucifer tortures both Sam and Jack, and causes the two to kill each other, but Sam then begs Jack to kill him, but nevertheless Jack then tries to kill himself. A minute later Dean appears and with the powers of Michael with whom he said yes, he and Lucifer have a very close fight but Lucifer ends up winning the best and when Lucifer is close to killing Dean, Sam throws a blade that kills archangels that Dean stabs him and kills Lucifer.

When Nick shows up asking Lucifer for help, and for the first time his true form is revealed to have a skeletal black skin, and for some reason Lucifer reaches out of the void just as Castiel did.
Prophet and Loss[]
Nick with the help of the demons tries to bring Lucifer back to life and is willing to give his own vessel to do so. However he manages to do the ritual and when he was close to resurrecting Lucifer, Jack appears and cancels the ritual, making Lucifer's true form disappear, then Jack brutally kills Nick for it.

- As incredible that it sounds in this version of Supernatural, Michael is the older brother of Lucifer in some versions it is said for Lucifer to be the older brother that Michael.
- Despite its name Lucifer, to be regarded as the name of the devil, the bible never explicitly started this, which is the result of several translations of the name Lucifer and appears only once in the Hebrew Bible, Isaiah in chapter 14: 12, which is a prophecy about a corrupt king of Babylon that is described. Those who believe that the fall of the Lucifer, Satan, Devil and also Samael are the same being.

- Lucifer is one of the most malignant major antagonist to appear in the series, he joins with other villains major Supernatural franchise, along with Azazel of season 1 and 2,4, Lilith of season 3 and 4, Alastair that appears of season 4, Dick Roman who made his appearance in season 7 as the leader of the Leviathans, Abaddon that appears both in the season 8 and 9 respectively, Doctor Hess that appeas in the season 12 and Michael of the altenative universe that appears in season 13 and 14, both of these villains are Complete Monster/Pure Evil.
- Among the main antagonists Lucifer along with Crowley and Metatron are the most frequent antagonists in the series.
- Lucifer is also one of the only characters along with Castiel who is dead and awake alive at the same time in the Empty which is where the demons and angels are sent after death.
- In addition, Lucifer is the only angel/archangel to have his true form revealed that happened in season 14.
