Lucas Johnson is a major antagonist from British soap opera EastEnders. Lucas made his debut in April 2008, but would not become one of the shows villains until September 2009. A year into his stint, Lucas would ultimately become a serial killer until his crimes are exposed by July 2010 and the character would be sent to prison.
The character has made many reappearances since his depart, the first was in January 2016 for a guest stint until March of that year. Lucas would return again in 2020 when perhaps shockingly Lucas was released way too early from prison as apart of an experiment but would ultimately be sent back to prison by March 2021 when he takes the fall for his daugher Chelsea Fox drug dealing. Lucas returns again briefly in January and February 2024.

History[]
Lucas arrives in Walford in a bid to get to know his daughter Chelsea Fox and despite Chelsea not wanting to know at first, Lucas is eventually allowed to be let in by Chelsea and be apart of her life. Lucas would then reconcile with Chelsea's mother Denise Fox and despite unintentionally employing outed pedophile Tony King at the youth club which upset many locals, Lucus' first year in Walford went by without any real major drama.
Lucas would eventually be hounded by his ex-wife and his sons Jordan mother Trina Johnson, Lucas eventually kills Trina after he pushes her on a spiked rake and leaves her to die, Lucas thinks his in the clear however Denise's ex husband Owen Turner is released from prison and instantly clashes with Lucas, Owen managed to crack that Lucas killed Trina and begins to blackmail him, Lucas responsed by strangling and killing Owen on the day of his wedding to Denise. After marrying Denise, Lucas disposes of Owen's body in the sqaure, when his dog sugar begins to sell the corpse, Lucas kills Sugar.
By 2010, Lucas enters a feud with local hardman Phil Mitchell when Phil's son Ben Mitchell attacks Jordan, the men nearly come to blows but are stopped by Denise and Patrick. Later on the year, Lucas confesses to the murders of Trina and Owen to a distraught Denise after Owen's body was discovered, Lucas attacks Denise and seemingly kills her however its later revealed that Lucas killed a prostitute named Gemma Charleston so she can identify as Denise, Denise later escapes and his crimes are exposed to his family, Lucas holds his family hostage but would ultimately surrender to the police, he would then confess his crimes and be sent to prison for life.
Lucas makes a return in January 2016 and plans to escape prison with the help of his son Jordan, he tells Denise he has changed, after his escape attempt, Lucas is caught and sent back to prison. Lucas makes another return in 2020 where he would be released from prison to Denise's horror, Lucas finally makes peace with both Denise and Chelsea and would confess he sells drugs for Caleb Malone. Lucas is seen again in 2024 when he is visited by Denise who is in the middle of a murder cover up with five other women. Lucas gives Denise advice and even calls her current husband Jack Branning.
