Lord X (originally known as Sonic.exe) is the main antagonist of the Soulless Sonic series by JoeDoughBoi, first appearing in SonicPC.

It is an alternative future incarnation of X ten years after the events of the original SONIC 2011, developing a port of the original SONIC.EXE disc capable of being sent and opened without the use of it.

Its voice actor is currently anonymous, being listed as "???????".

Overview

Much is unknown about the past of Lord X other than that it was created due to a cataclysmic collision of VOID energy creating a sentient entity made of antimatter. Its past is nearly identical to that of the original, only this time with the addition of him being able to create a computer controlling executable file capable of being ran without the SONIC.EXE disc.

At some point, Alan was captured and sent into Lord X's dimension in the shape of Miles "Tails" Prower.

Lord X has 7 guardians that each represent human emotions. These guardians are: Yokubo (Guardian of Desire), Kyofu (Guardian of Fear), Zetsubo (Guardian of Despair), Kofuku (Guardian of Joy), Gekido (Guardian of Rage), Ken'o (Guardian of Disgust), and Kito (Guardian of Prayer). All the guardians are extensions of Lord X himself, being the reason why they are all similar hedgehogs.

Appearance

Lord X is similar to Sonic.exe but has a slightly different appearance. It has blue-grayish fur, an 'X' shaped wound on his stomach and red eyes with black sclera. It also has dark-yellow teeth, whiskers and wears deformed black shoes.

In its Faker form, it has yellow teeth and eyes that glow red in the dark.

Personality

Lord X is a more serious and sadistic version of Sonic.EXE. It wants to play games with Tails for "old times sake". It seems self aware that it is a video game, which allows it to mess around with the files to scare the player.

Abilities

• VOID physiology: Lord X is a sentient VOID being made of antimatter. It can use it to create life and harvest human souls, fly, shapeshift, teleport and even manipulate technology. Because of its true form's unique physiology, anything it touches will instantly rot and corrode. Lord X's power cannot be properly measured or compared.
  • Reality warping: Lord X is a powerful reality warper that has a seemingly limitless number of abilities on hand. It can create demonic plant life, turn water into blood and even create pocket dimensions (such as the one it resides in).
  • Shapeshifting: Lord X has multiple different forms it can take. It has a "faker" form that looks nearly identical to that of Sonic the Hedgehog himself, a "Void" form, and its true form.

Lord X is the main antagonist of Sonic (PC Port) and Sonic (PC Port) Remake Demo and an antagonist from the Friday Night Funkin' Mod called Vs Sonic.Exe. He is one of many versions of Sonic.exe featured within the mod.

He was also featured in the Chaos Series mod as one of the main antagonists.

Alan/Tails

Alan would be one of his main victims of the PC port. As the main player character (although he is self-aware, as shown in the original PC Port game), Lord X wants to "play" with him by changing the zones into a hellish fire. With there being some dead creatures just like the OG Sonic.EXE game.

• While Lord X is a genderless being that doesn't conform to human gender beliefs, JoeDoughBoi has referred to it as male numerous times.
• Despite being a more serious take on the original Sonic.exe, Lord X has been the subject of various jokes and memes ever since his appearance in Vs. Sonic.exe 2.0 due to his poses looking "funny".
  • One of the most popular memes of Lord X is "DIGA BYE BYE" from the Brazilian YouTuber Galaccine's lyric video on Cycles. Other popular memes of Lord X consist of images of his left pose with the text saying stuff like "get a load of this guy" or "balls".
  • JoeDoughBoi has expressed his ire towards this, believing this contradicts how Lord X is meant to be portrayed seriously.
• Lord X is canonically 3'3" and 77 lbs.
• In the original prototypes of PC Port, Lord X would've had a more goat-like appearance, likely to reference the fact that goats are commonly used in Satanic imagery and many demons of folklore take goat-like appearances.
• Before the 2023 reboot, this X used to branch off from JC's X with the games happening after the two stories however due to JC's X being retconned and replaced by X(2011) he now branches off that X.
• Despite his name, Lord X is not his real name, as he doesn't possess a name.
  • "X" is short for "exe", which itself is short for "Sonic.exe" that was the nickname given by individuals, as Sonic.exe lacked a name.
• Lord X was originally meant to be voiced by Sheygrell, the voice of Sonic.exe from the 2012 fangame by MY5TCrimson.
• Lord X's in-game form is a decayed version of Sonic, due to Lord X inhabiting his in-game sprite and causing rapid decompositions to it due to his anti-matter physiology.
• Lord X's voice was inspired from Solomon from the NES Godzilla Creepypasta reading by Goji73.
• Despite his catchphrase "I AM GOD", Lord X doesn't believe himself to be a god. The catchphrase "I AM GOD" is merely him mocking religion.
• Lord X's diet consists of the souls of his victims and meat taken from his victims' corpses.
• The reason Lord X's shoes are deformed is due to Lord X distributing mass around his body, causing his shoes to collapse in on themselves.
• Lord X knows how to play the piano.
• Like the original Sonic.exe, Lord X's teeth are naturally yellow.
• The original Sonic PC Port is still canon.
• Lord X will only give certain victims he enjoys playing with the form of Sonic.
• If a part of Lord X is obscured by a dark shadow in his Sonic disguise, that part of him will expose his true form.
• Lord X does not have toes.
