Gavin then decided to ruin Wright's career as revenge for such humiliation: he then hired a professional forger and created a fake letter from Magnifi and gave it for his twin brother who was, Klavier Gavin, who would be the prosecutor for the case. His plan was successful. Because Phoenix lost his lawyer badge for presenting a letter that was forged, because he did not know it, Zak then ran away from it using his magnificent magic ability to never be seen again. Gavin gave a fingernail preacher to the forger's daughter, who had deadly atrokinin poison inside, in order for him to wipe all his loose ends. To win the trust of Phoenix, he soon voted not to disrupt Phoenix. Phoenix then hires Apollo Justice to be his advocate in his defense.

Years later, he was talking to Phoenix until he was about to leave and saw a very familiar face. A guy named Shadi Smith who wanted to take Phoenix to a game of pokei. But Kristoph soon recognized him as Zak Gramarye. While Zak struck Olga inconsistently, Phoenix soon called the police while Kristopho went and killed Zak. After Zak's death, Phoenix covered Zak's head so he could hide Zak's baldness and called Kristoph to get a defense lawyer if he was arrested. On the connection Kristoph already knew that Zak was bald and this made Phoenix suspect, during his trial, he asked that the defense lawyer be Apollo. In Turnabout Trump, when Phoenix and Apollo accuse him of killing Zakm he raised his hand as lobsters and dishes that Olga a witness knocked over, begin to float and fall as he clenches his fist on the witness's bench. In Turnabout Succession, his second collapse is very similar to the first except that he does not levitate anything when he hits his first, and then his hair and glasses fly while he smashes Phoenix.
