Biography[]

Johnny English[]

In 2003, Vendetta and Dieter Klein secretly planted a bomb at Agent One's funeral. The explosion killed almost all MI7 agents in the UK, leaving Johnny English to take up the role of Agent One.

Vendetta and Klein later stole the refurbished Crown Jewels during their presentation ceremony. However, they were chased by MI7 agents Johnny English and Angus Bough. During the ensuing shootout, Klein threw a smoke grenade as a diversion, enabling him and Vendetta to escape in a hearse. After a vehicle chase, the two managed to elude their pursuers when English went after the wrong hearse.

The two terrorists later met with their boss, Pascal Sauvage to discuss the Frenchman's scheme to be crowned King of the UK. When Vendetta expressed concern about interference from English, Sauvage played a recording of English at his flat, assuring them that the man was a fool. Nevertheless, he agreed that if English proved to be a problem again, then the two Germans could kill him.

Vendetta then took it upon himself to try to kill English in a parking garage with a machine gun. His attempt failed, upon which he fled the scene, aided by English mistaking Bough for Vendetta.

After English and Bough infiltrated Sauvage's headquarters, the Frenchman sent Vendetta with a cohort of criminals to force the Queen to abdicate the throne on behalf of herself and her descendants. She initially refused until Vendetta threatened to shoot her corgi.

Vendetta was present at Sauvage's château while the Frenchman met with European criminal leaders to offer one of them a chance to become his partner in the enterprise to turn England into the world's largest prison. Johnny English and his ally, Interpol agent Lorna Campbell, then attempted to take Sauvage into custody. However, English accidentally tipped off everyone in the building when he accidentally pressed an intercom button, revealing his and Campbell's presence. Vendetta was one of Sauvage's henchman who captured Campbell.

During Sauvage's coronation ceremony, Vendetta stood by in an overlooking balcony. When Johnny English interrupted the proceedings, Vendetta attempted to shoot him. However, he was attacked by Campbell, who knocked the terrorist unconscious after a scuffle.

Vendetta's final fate is unknown, though it is quite likely that he was arrested and incarcerated.

Trivia[]

  • Vendetta's first name was spelled "Klaus" during a reunion scene between English, Bough and Pegasus but he was incorrectly credited as "Carlos Vendetta" in the end credits.
