King Vortigern is the main antagonist of the King Arthur: The Legend of the Sword.
Personality[]
Vortigern is an extremely tyrannical, powerful, oppressive, authoritarian and megalomaniacal ruler. Though he actually feels a deep romantic attachment to his wife Elsa and his daughter to a point, his love for them was ultimately outweighed by his lust for power, and he was eventually willing to sacrifice them, deeming them as necessary sacrifice for maintaining his iron fist over Camelot.
