Keiki Haniyasushin (埴安神 袿姫 Haniyasushin Keiki) is one of the recurring characters in Touhou series, she used to be one of the two main antagonists and the final boss of Wily Beast and Weakest Creature.
Appearance[]
Keiki wears the green headdress commonly found on so-called "miko" haniwa, and wears a yellow dress and green apron, possibly based on the haniwa costume. The spiral decoration on her dress resembles paintings of decorated burial mounds in Fukuoka prefecture. Her necklace consists of many multicolored magatama. Magatama is often used as a symbol of divinity and is described as a frequent offering to the gods in early Japanese chronicles. She also has a variety of modern sculpting tools on hand, and even more in her waist-high pockets.
Personality[]
Keiki is very polite and does not fight if he can avoid it, but this attitude seems to apply mostly only to humans. On the one hand, at first, she tries to convince the main characters that it is against their interests to fight her. On the other hand, she's proud that she thinks no one can defeat her in battle, and she's a man of animal spirits who invades a primate cemetery and relinquishes control. Upon learning of the plan, she immediately engages the possessed protagonist. However, despite her intentions to liberate human spirits and act as a venerable force, she still expresses her intention to cooperate with animal spirits in her conversation with Yachie, giving her more rational intentions. but Yachie subsequently denies this.
Abilities[]
She can create idols driven by the faith directed towards them. Their purpose doesn't seem to end there. They can stand in, play with them, and decorate their homes. Wily Beast and Weakest Creature indirectly likens this ability to the creation of Goshintai. Keiki himself indirectly suggests that he can create a goshintai for Reimu.
Besides haniwa, the idols produced by Keiki sometimes take the form of other objects associated with burial tombs, such as bronze bells, mirrors, swords, and magatama. According to Mayumi, there is always a soul in anything Keiki makes.
