Jospeh Randolph or better known as Dr. Randolph or the One winged angel is the main antagonist of the indie horror game The Heilwald Loophole. He's responsible for everything that happens in the game and the tragedies at the hospital somehow.
Background[]
Not much is known about Joseph other than that he is a Doctor that works at the Heilwald Klinikum hospital. He is the " successor " to Friedrich Erlenmeyer.
While Randolph's past is unknown it's known that he's somehow responsible for the tragedies and accidents that happened at the Heilwald hospital. It's heavily implied that Randolph cheated to get to the position that he's in since his application form is riddled with errors and he his most common treatment is removing people's livers. Joseph does seem to know a little bit about the medic field but not enough to make him a doctor.
Personality[]
Joseph is a sick individual as he is normally a liar and claims that he cares for all of his patients but in reality has killed many of them. He often kidnaps people to make them his "patient" and "treat" them however we can see in game there are several people who need medical attention but he ignores them. It's possible that Randolph takes pleasure from watching people in pain since he never seems to want to help them and frankly he's the reason why the nurses are so bad at their jobs and can't help the patients in the hospital. Joseph is heavily implied to experiment on his patients(illegally) and created a time loop somehow putting everyone in the same cycle everyday making the pain never ending. This shows just how far he's willing to go to make people suffer and how much he enjoys harming people especially his patients.
Jospeh is also a huge cheater as he is implied to have cheated on his medical examine and many other things he did to reach his level of becoming the doctor he is today. Jospeh has shown that he's willing to manipulate other people for his own benefit and sometimes this causes them to become mind broken. Randolph has shown no remorse for mind breaking people and even psychically abusing people for his own gain or amusement. It's usually for his own amusement.
Randolph normally hides this evilness by putting on a polite mask appearing nice at first but then manipulates his victims by "removing their liver" usually. Randolph often takes advantage of his victims by manipulating them and he tends to abuse his employees. Joseph does met his well deserved end at the end of the game taking his "one winged angel form" and is killed by the protagonist of the game. Jospeh is fused with all the evil he's done turning him into some kind of creature and he is seen pathetically begging for his life as he dies showing how petty and cruel Randolph truly is.
What Makes him a Complete Monster?[]
- He's manipulated many people and often uses the treatment of "removing their livers"
- He made his victims end up in a time loop causing them to suffer the same punishments over and over again torturing them constantly.
- He lied and cheated allowing him to become a doctor when in reality he had no idea what he was doing.
- He's responsible for creating all the villain in the series.
- While it's true that his origins are unknown for the most part he clearly feels no remorse for his victims since he shows enjoyment from torturing them.
- The people who are in need of help in his hospital he keeps there and keeps torturing them and doesn't treat them at all.
- He lied by saying that he wanted everyone to live at his hospital; in reality he's clearly taking joy out of murdering and torturing them
