My name isn't Morgan. It's Thredson. I'm the son of Bloody Face.
~ Morgan's most famous line

Johnny Morgan is a final antagonist in American Horror Story: Asylum. He is a serial killer who murders and mutilates people to continue the "legacy" of his late father, OIiver Thredson, a serial killer known as "Bloody Face".

He is portrayed by Dylan McDermott, who also portrayed Richard Wheatley in Law & Order: Organized Crime.

History[]

Morgan was conceived when his father, serial killer OIiver Thredson, raped and impregnated Lana Winters in 1960. Winters managed to escape from Thredson and kill him, and wrote a book about her ordeal that launched her career as a journalist. Meanwhile, she put Morgan up for adoption immediately after giving birth to him. Morgan grew up in an orphanage, where his mother visited him once without telling him who she was. Upon learning his history and that of his father, however, he grew to hate his mother for depriving him of his father and abandoning him. He went through a series of abusive foster homes, and began exhibiting sociopathic tendencies, including animal torture.

As an adult, Morgan became a serial killer in his own right, fashioning a "mask" made of his victims' skin much as his father had, and renames himself "Son of Bloody Face".

Trivia[]

  • Johnny is very similar to Charlie Wilkinson both copied their parents' murders, both caught the same sociopathic traits parents, and both were shot dead with a firearm.
