Jacob Dawes was a prolific serial killer psychopath and also the main antagonist of the Criminal Minds, ''Riding the Lighting'' episode in first season. He was portrayed by the late Michael Massee who also portrayed Michael Williams of Law and Order SVU, and Ira Gaines of 24 and also portrayed Casey Steele of CSI: New York.

Biography[]
Daves was the only son and was sexually and emotionally abused by his mother throughout his entire childhood. Later in his adult life, Daves became a carpenter and he married Sarah Jean Mason, he soon began killing and torturing teenage girls in the year 1985. After having killed at least eighteen victims at the time, he found them in a Jacob's office was interviewed by him and Sarah Jean in the early 1990s after Sarah Jean seized by guilt, made anonymous phone calls to the authorities, and realizing that the police would return, Jacob ordered her to get out of the body, she then lied to Jacob and handed it to the Sheffields wanting to pretege it. Soon afterwards, the police arrested Jacob and Sarah, Jacob confessed to having killed her son Riley who did not truth.

At the beginning of the episode, Jacob is interviewed by Hotch to find out if he is responsible for more murders, but he does not confess any of them and instead he wants to play a card game, then when JJ enters the interrogation room, Jacob wins he will feel JJ's hair, Hotch does not agree at first, but JJ eventually agrees to the deal. After Hotch wins, Jacob says there are no more girls, Hotch then end affirming that the State granted a delay in its execution to Sarah Jean Mason. After believing this to be true, Jacob then becomes enraged and tells where Sarah Jean buried Riley, only to discover that the body being interred is not Riley's but one of his other victims, Ashley Farley.
So with that, Hotch return and question Jacob that he denied information. Then when Jacob is taken to the chair for his execution, he then starts yelling and saying how he and Sarah are destined to die together. As Jacob is close to dying, Hotch soon shows the image of Riley alive showing Sarah's innoncence, and Hotch soon says that Jacob lost, and for the first Jacob is seen angry and growling and shouting ''No'', until his execution.
