Jack Dalton was a minor antagonist from british soap EastEnders that appeared between May and July 2003.
Jack also going by the name "Dalton" was a gangland boss that ran the EastEnd of london and was known and feared by many locals, he was known by local hardman Phil Mitchell and had a past with the then bad boy newcomer Dennis Rickman.
Dalton being the boss also had a second in command in Andy Hunter. Soon enough Dalton was eventually killed by Dennis after Dennis discovers of Dalton's plan to use Phil to kill Dennis, at first Dalton's murder would panic both Phil and Dennis however, Andy eventually gave both of them a pass as Dalton's death would allow Andy to over take the firm and run the EastEnd of London.
Dalton was also the reason Den Watts had to lie low and fake his death as he double crossed him, after Dalton was killed by Dennis, Den returned to Walford after 14 years of apparently being dead.
Jack Dalton was played by Hywel Bennett.
