Serial Designation J, mostly referred to as J for short, is the secondary antagonist of the 2021 Glitch Productions web series, Murder Drones, serving as the main antagonist of the pilot episode.
She is Disassembly Drone who was tasked by her parent company to eliminate the Worker Drone race.
She was voiced by Shara Kirby.
Personality[]
J is best described as a "lethal workaholic", given that she is incredibly dedicated to her job, although she is not as sadistic and insane as V is. She looks down on others who are not as good at their designated task. This is best shown with her relationship with N, as she despises him and tells him that she would kill him if their company allowed it. Her dislike of N goes as far as to infect him with a virus when learning that he wants to rebel against their company and what they stand for (even though there is a perfectly good reason for wanting to do so), while also taking glee in doing such an act.
J is also arrogant and prideful, as she tends to enjoy insulting others. This proved to be her downfall, as she was able to incapacitate Uzi, but rather than finishing her off right on the spot, she took the time to monologue and gave Uzi the advantage to stab her with her own acidic tail. Despite this, she does acknowledge whenever her fellow drones do something she considers worthwhile. This is shown when N supposedly gets past the Worker Drones' door and, despite her low opinion of him, J genuinely congratulates his efforts and rewards him with a pen, an item she actually considers an accomplishment.
Biography[]
Sometime after organic life was wiped from the Exoplanet and Worker drones begin to live their lives freely, J was sent to said planet with V and N to exterminate every last drone there. She dislikes N due to him being bad at his job and expresses her desire to kill him for his naive and "worthless" nature.
After arriving back at the crashed pod they arrived in, she notices N had taken damage from fighting a Worker Drone (Uzi) and reboots his system by slapping his head. Upon realizing that Uzi was not on their side, N panics and runs after her. V and N, having grown suspicious due to his terrible acting, decide to follow him.
The two would later catch up to N and realize he was able to get past the durable doors that prevented them from getting inside of the Worker Drones's base. She goes on to praise N for not being as useless as she thinks he was, only to lose her newfound respect of him once she realizes that he might be having second thoughts over their goals and might be planning a possible rebellion against their company. Finally having a reason to exterminate him, J infects him with a virus and leaves him for dead as she goes to join V in slaughtering the murder drones inside the base.
Luckily, Uzi would save N for sparing her life and the two would work together to fight J and V respectively. J would incapacitate Uzi and taunt her, although she did voice her respect for her rebellious and durable attitude. This caused her to meet her downfall, as this gave Uzi enough time to impale her leg with her own acidic tail, which causes her to trip fall down. J would attempted to utter her last words, "Equity Partnersh-" before Uzi cuts her off by obliterating half of her body with her railgun.
