The Horrid Lorries are the main antagonists of Thomas & Friends episode "Horrid Lorry".
Biographies[]
The Lorries are brought in to ease the work load around the Island of Sodor. However, they were all being mean and rude to the engines and schemes to get them to be scrapped. For example, Lorry 1 insulting Thomas, James and Percy, and Lorry 2 and 3 insulting Percy and Toby. They eventually get their comeuppance and sent away, such as Lorry 1 reversing into the harbour, Lorry 2 falling off a steep hill and Lorry 3 breaking down after carrying too much flour from the mill).

The Lorries are mean, arrogant and rude as they wanted to replace the engines by having them get scrapped.
