Gorgon is a large Gorgosaurus that serves as the main antagonist in the 2013 film, Walking with Dinosaurs: The Movie. He is the boss of other Gorgosauruses.
History[]
Gorgon is first seen when Patchi and Scowler get caught up in a huge fire during the migration that was lead by Bulldust towards the feeding grounds. Gorgon attacks the two brothers and corners them under the logs, attempting to kill them. But before he can eat them, their father Bulldust knocks him away from them. Bulldust battles the evil dinosaur, to protect his sons from the hungry predator, until Gorgon gains the upper hand and defeats him by clamping his jaws on Bulldust's neck, killing him.
Later, Gorgon catches and kills a pterosaur to feed his pack. He and his pack spots Patchi alongside Juniper's head once more and gets his pack to wait for moment to attack. Gorgon and his pack charge out from hiding places and attack the herd, causing them to panick and run away in fear. Then Gorgon separated the young and weak from the herd and prepares to kill them. Patchi, Juniper, and Scowler fall into the raging river and are swept away by the currents but managed to survive.
In the final confrontation, years later Gorgon and his pack ambush and attack the herd once again. He then turns on Scowler and attacks him, Scowler tries to fight him off to protect the herd, but Gorgon easily overpowers him and grabs him on the back of the neck with his powerful jaws and brings down onto the ground, ready kill the helpless Scowler who tells Patchi to lead the herd away, but Patchi refuses, not wanting to leave his brother to die, he charges at Gorgon with Juniper and some of the herds joining in. Gorgon changes targets as Patchi headbutts him away from Scowler, while Juniper and the rest of the herd fight and easily defeat Gorgon's pack. Gorgon and Patchi engage in fight, Gorgon gains the upper hand but Patchi managed to overpower him after he breaks his arm. Gorgon made one final lunge but Patchi rams him in the head so hard, knocking out some of his teeth, defeating him. Finally defeated, Gorgon retreats into the forest along with his pack.
Millions of years later, his skull is found by a palaeontolgist named Zach, his niece Jade and nephew Ricky.
