~ Captain Hardrock

Captain Hardrock is an akumatized villain in Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir and the akumatized form of Anarka Couffaine.

Appearance[]

Captain Hardrock takes the appearance of a tan-skinned humanoid with long vivid-red hair that is spiked-upwards, held back by a black bandana with a spiky-haired white skull located on the center.

Her eyes have dark maroon-outlined golden-yellow irises, neon-yellow sclera, and thick black eyeliner which forms to thick bottom lashes. She also has accessorized small golden hoop-piercings, and retains her red-colored lipstick.

In terms of attire, Captain Hardrock wears a black captain's jacket with golden-yellow inner lining, golden spikes on the shoulders, golden edges and belt straps with golden buckles on the sides. Her jacket is worn over her skin-tight, high-collared gray bodysuit with a red flame-design from the collar to the chest, alongside three small golden button vertically on the lower part, golden spikes horizontally over each knee, and a bright yellow patch above each hip. Her shoes are that of red calf-length, low-heeled boots with a black flame-pattern painted on them, black inner lining, black soles, bright yellow heels and straps with golden spikes around them.

She accessorizes with a set of black and gray fingerless elbow-length gloves with some of the holes being accessorized by pirate-inspired golden rings, and two black belts with golden buckles; one going around the body diagonally and the other wrapped around her waist.

For a weapon, she carries a cutlass with a black handle, three thin red stripes on and near the pommel, and a blade with jagged black edges that goes from red at the handle to white at the tip.

Personality[]

As Captain Hardrock, her desire for freedom increases to the point where she wants to blast her music across Paris and ruin the other concerts so that she'll be the only one heard. Which also includes that her houseboat can only obey her when she says an order. When the passengers of her ship refuse to play music for her, she gets mad and imprisons them. She also doesn't consider herself as her kids' mom anymore and has no remorse in taking them prisoner when they refuse to obey her.

Powers and Abilities[]

Her houseboat, the Liberty, has become a seemingly indestructible living ship that can fire chains on command to ensnare Captain Hardrock's foes, as well as blast lasers, and it's cannons fire cannonball-shaped speakers which seem to act as white noise machines. The compass also points to whatever direction Captain Hardrock orders.

For a weapon, she has a microphone which doubles as a laser cutlass and can also turn into a spyglass.

List of people she captured[]

Quotes[]

Nothing and no one will stop Captain Hardrock from playing her music! Fire!

Trivia[]

  • In response to a comment on Twitter, Thomas Astruc noted that, "in a way," Captain Hardrock is a reference to Captain Harlock from the manga series Space Pirate Captain Harlock.
    • Both Captain Hardrock and her ship are a visual pun on musical piracy.
