The Eclipse Celestial Spirit King or also known as the Celestial Spirit Beast is the main antagonist final that appears in Eclipse Celestial Spirits arc in Fairy Tail. He is the Eclipse form of the Celestial Spirit King.
Personality[]
In this form, Celestial Spirit King has lost any kind of intelligence and personality instead he only believes in brute physical strenght. He was also told by Ophiuchus to be very thirsty for power and wished to devour the 12 Eclipse Celestial Spirit for more power. And in addition she also suggested that the Celestial Spirit King wishes to destroy the Celestial Spirit World, thus differentiating from the original Celestial Spirit King and the Spirit Beast.

Eclipse Celestial Spirits arc[]
After the defeat of each of the 12 Eclipse Celestial Spirit, they were all arrested by the Eclipse Celestial Spirit King that slowly devoured them including Ophiuchus who was defeated shortly thereafter. When all members of Fairy Tail arrives including others like Yukino, Arcadios and Hisui. They see the beastly form of the Celestial Spirit King that begins to devour the planets and also the 12 Eclipse Celestial Spirit and Ophiuchus, he fought against all and turned all except Team Natsu and Gajeel into ribs. Natsu enters the Eclipse Celestial Spirit King, while Erza and the others distract the Eclipse Celestial Spirit King, Natsu and Happy manage to enter it and find the 12 Eclipse Celestial Spirits tell Natsu not to interfere. Natsu ignores them and destroys the Celestial Spirit Beast from within, thus releasing the 12 Celestial Spirit and all return to normal including Ophiuchus.
