Dominic is the primary antagonist of the story "Gumdrop Angel" from the Five Nights at Freddy's: Fazbear Frights anthology novel series.
Biography[]
Angel is forced to go to attend her spoiled stepsister's party at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. After Ophelia, Angel's stepsister, accidentally spills pizza sauce on Angel, she gets angry, but Dominic, an assistant manager whom Angel finds cute, helps wipe the stain. After the two chat a bit, Dominic is called back to work. Later on, the employees unleash the Birthday Gummy, a statue resembling a girl which is entirely made of candy. All the kids at the party eat the Birthday Gummy, with Ophelia getting the gumdrop nose.
Later, Angel's stepfather, Myron, prevents Angel from calling Dominic. The two have an argument, and in a fit of anger, Angel eats Ophelia's gumdrop nose. Angel wakes up hours later, and after looking in the mirror, she sees that her skin has become mottled bright red and pale white and now has a weird, squishy structure. At first, Angel speculates that the water Dominic has sprayed on her might have been toxic, but eventually realizes that it was the gumdrop nose that she ate which caused the mutations she's experience. She calls Dominic, who starts to cry and tells her to go to Freddy's. Once she has arrived, Dominic leads her to an employees-only room, and Angel and asks her to step inside a box. Angel obeys and eventually starts to sleep. Once Angel wakes up, she's still in the box, in a standing position, and is being lowered down. Now being the new Birthday Gummy, the kids eat Angel.
Personality[]
At first, Dominic appears to be a gentle and caring guy, able to keep a positive attitude even in the face of difficulties. However, the story's ending seems to paint him in a more ambiguous and sinister light, as he willingly and knowingly causes Angel to die in an horrific way. Nonetheless, his affection towards Angel was likely genuine, as shown by him crying after putting her in the box.
